A really well-run daycare with a genuinely caring team. The staff are attentive, patient and clearly understand dog behaviour, which is so reassuring. Dogs are cared for thoughtfully and always come home settled and happy.

I honestly have no words for how amazing this place is. I’ve got two little chihuahuas who couldn’t be more different – one is super friendly and the other is very cautious and anxious. They hadn’t been boarded for six years, so it was suggested we try a couple of trial nights first. This was such a great idea and really gave Hugo and Ralph the chance to settle in. The staff are just incredible. Susan has spent so much time and patience with Hugo, helping him to feel comfortable, and it honestly means the world to us. You can truly see how much they care for your pets and do everything they can to make them feel safe and at ease. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

Absolutely fantastic dog boarding! The only place I've ever put my dog into and managed to get him back in the same, happy condition. The photo updates they post on Facebook are great for seeing your pet when you are on holiday. Would definitely recommend and use again.

this place is absouletly amazing! the staff are very friendly and helpful! my spaniel came back after her trial night before a longer stay and she was really happy and had taken straight to the team. not to mention she came back tired and you know how hard it is to tire a spaniel! I'm so happy I went with this team for watching my pup while I'm away, I have no concerns and can't wait to see all her little adventures while she's away! I don't think i could have chosen a better place ❣️

My dog has been staying at Mearns Lodge for 8 years, usually once a month, and loves it! The team are so welcoming and take special care of his extra needs as a senior dog. I feel so reassured knowing how well he’s being looked after (and spoiled!)
