Worth every penny. Plan in advance so you can spend as much time as possible. Buy the 'boop' card, at least. Consider spending several days in the area if you find the 'strip' overwhelming and generic. Lots of "off the beaten path" stuff. Could have spent so much more time in the area, visiting all the "installation" or "expirience" warehouses. "Zookz" available if you plan ahead. Do it. All of it. Absolutely wonderful experience. I 9nlg regret not having enough time there ❤️
If my $120 shopping bag of useless gags and shirts didn’t scream it loud enough, how about my $60 bar tab? Haha. Go sober, go high, go with family or friends. It’s fun any way you slice it. They change up the exhibit somewhat frequently year over year. So this was my first time, but my gf’s 2nd time. And it was pretty new to her since the last time. Loved the art, great drinks!!! Really terrific service e, for a Friday night at 10:30 it wasn’t crowded at all! Surprised. So fun! $44 entry but hey, not like I’m doing it EVERY weekend. Worth it for some adult fun! (Get high tho, it’s way better)
It was fun! Dont buy coffee at the shop right outside, you can’t take it in. Kinda pricey for what it is but the entire Area 15 is cool so it might be more worth it to do the pass? Not as cool as Denver or Santa Fe but the hidden entrances i think are spiking the price because of social media. Cool vibes and a great place to get lost! Wouldn’t spend more than 2 hours inside but bar outside & arcade upstairs are cool to just chill and hang for the day even if you dont go inside!
Man oh man, this experience did not disappoint. I stayed for about four and a half hours, but if not for my friends wanting to go do other stuff (lame), I could have been there the entire day, I was absolutely enthralled. Spend the $3 on the boop card, you won’t regret it. The main objectives themselves were easy enough to get through for us (word to the wise, even though you think all of the office computers are the same, maybe try booping around a bit more), but were still engaging enough to keep you wanting to continue the entire time. The lore runs DEEP. I mean, you could fill a library with all of the documents to go through. We found a textbook that had annotations on every single page. The level of detail was astounding. Sometimes we were frustrated by things that seemed like we should have been able to figure out not coming together for us (ex: we wanted the phones to have more Easter eggs), but I think most likely it was just user error, and if we had stayed longer we would have found ways to find the information we were looking for. I do really wish that there were more terminals to boop per room - all with the same content. Sometimes the lines would get quite long, and it made me feel guilty as the most excited person in my party when everyone else just wanted to move on, but I wanted to unlock more and figure out the story. I’m not sure it’s even feasible to add anything like that, but it would have made the experience much better if there crowds could have been dispersed to a handful of spots rather than all huddled waiting for their turn. This experience works on all levels, for all ages. The staff was incredibly helpful when we got stuck, and everyone seemed so enthusiastic to do their job. I think that Meow Wolf must have some sort of ability to take things down online because for the life of me I cannot find answers to the burning questions I still have about the story here. I hope to figure more out in the future! For now, I can say that this was perhaps one of my favorite outings I’ve ever been on.
This place was so much more than I expected, and nestled in Area 15 which is free to enter and a great place to chill. They had good looking dining options that had reasonable prices (a nice change from options right on the Strip). The boba tea place was delicious. Parking was very reasonably priced and a huge accessible lot ($4.99 minimum for 2 hours on a Friday afternoon. It does require payment through a QR code and I didn't see any kiosks. Could have spent hours in omega mart alone (we only had about 90 minutes). A very unique and quirky supermart with some really cool interactive attractions and hidden gems!! Definitely worth the money (about $114 for 2 people after tax). You can buy the tickets ahead of time online but when we went there was no line at a ticket kiosk outside and you pick a time slot you can enter up to 10 mins ahead of time. They offer a VIP scavenger hunt which was a bit pricey but came with discounts on merch. There was also a little game for an extra $3 per person which you can uncover clues in a cool, sad, engaging story that gives Omega Mart and the "employees" an interesting back story (but make sure you ask about it when you are first entering). Check it out!
