A lovely restaurant with helpful and friendly staff. As soon as we sat down, we were given tortilla chips with some beautiful dips and warm prawn soup, which warmed us up nicely on this cold winter’s day. To start, we ordered: - Tamales costeños - Tostada - Taco tray - Queso frito All were tasty, but our table was overflowing as space was quite tight! For mains, we chose: - Mole poblano - Enchiladas verde - Enchiladas Cancún - and more tacos! As we hadn’t tried Mole before, our waiter suggested bringing us a small sample first, a fantastic gesture to enhance our experience. Everything was delicious, rich, and clearly authentic. For dessert, I had my heart set on the tres leches cake, but unfortunately they had just served the last one. We opted for the baked cream cheese instead, which was not what I was expecting, but really nice and a pleasant surprise. Note - there is a market shop opposite where you can get a small discount off the goods when you done at the restaurant - shame I only found out about this after I made a purchase!

I recently visited Mestizo Restaurant in Chelsea and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was warm and vibrant, the food was exceptional, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. DOMIAN, who served us, truly made the evening memorable. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu. He explained each dish with such detail and enthusiasm that I genuinely wanted to try everything. His recommendations were spot-on, and his approach felt professional yet personal, the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely welcomed rather than rushed. It’s rare to meet someone who combines expertise, passion, and genuine care for guests the way Damian does. His service elevated the entire dining experience. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Mestizo to others.

One of the best food experiences in London. Very friendly staff from the moment we stepped in the restaurant. We were welcome with some sauces and tortillas on the house, followed by a broth. We ordered the Carnitas taco followed the waitress recommendation, it was delicious 10/10. We also had mixed malo enchiladas, very good as well. We recommend that place and for sure we will be back. Places like Mestizo make the difference. The restaurant is very well decorated, charming and perfect ambiance music.

We had an amazing experience at Mestizo thanks to our server, Daniel! He is a native Mexican and incredibly knowledgeable. He provided perfect recommendations for both food and drinks, making our choices easy and delicious. Daniel was extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. The complimentary shots were a great finishing touch! His expertise and passion truly elevated the meal. Ask for Daniel when you visit—he's fantastic!

As a Tejana who has been living in India for the past year, I've been missing home. Was so happy to come here, have some food, drinks, and mariachis from home. The tamales and the salsas were so good! My friend got the lamb and it was amazing. And our server, Daniel, was such a sweetie. Really made our visit special. I highly recommend this place!
