Moving sucks — Metropolis made it a breeze. From the beginning I was impressed by the office’s communication. They responded to emails fast and answered all questions comprehensively. I was equally amazed and at ease from the movers, Eddie, Zach and Kavan. They handled all of our belongings with care. They also maneuvered some of our larger furniture up difficult staircases like they were very strong geometry experts. The were also very friendly. The price was competitive. We’re so grateful we went with you!

Metropolis is great in so many ways. They’ve moved me twice: once last year and again over this past weekend. First I moved from a 4th floor walk-up in Jersey City to a house in South Queens, then I moved from the house in South Queens to a 1st floor apartment in Astoria. I was so pleased with their work last year that I knew I wanted to hire them again this year. The movers are professional, responsive, and polite, over the phone and in-person. They worked well together and moved efficiently. The move is also reasonably priced, and was the first time as well. I received a 3% discount too, because I posted 3 posts of the move on my Instagram story. Overall, this is a wonderful company with awesome movers, and I recommend anyone using them for their next move.

Metropolis Moving made our move such a great experience. Moving from the Upper East Side to Ridgewood Queens isn’t easy, but Jack, Marshall, and Adam were not only efficient and careful with everything — they were also kind, upbeat, and just genuinely good people to spend a moving day with. They checked in with us often, made sure everything ended up exactly where we wanted it, and kept the whole process stress-free. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, we actually felt taken care of. If you’re moving, I can’t recommend Metropolis Moving enough. Ask for Jack, Marshall, and Adam — you’ll be in the best hands.

We recently moved from Brooklyn to NJ with Metropolis Move, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The packing team — Adam, Jonathan, and Eddie — did an outstanding job carefully preparing all of our belongings. On moving day, Kavan, Eddie, and Jack handled everything smoothly and efficiently. Everyone was professional, friendly, and hardworking, and they made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and well-organized. Although the final cost was a little over the initial estimate, the quality of service and care made it well worth it. Highly recommend Metropolis Move, and a big shoutout to Adam, Jonathan, Eddie, Kavan, and Jack for their great work!

Metropolis Moving made a tough and challenging move easy. I had just two weeks to move out of my NYC apartment with three separate drop offs in New Jersey, including a massive massage chair that needed to be disassembled and reassembled. From Jake in Sales to Corey in Operations, the planning was seamless. The crew of Christian, John, and Adam were outstanding, professional, careful, and organized. They treated my apartment and belongings like their own, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I have been through several moves and this was by far the best experience I have had. Five stars only because ten was not an option. Can't say enough about the team at Metropolis especially Christian, John and Adam. A successful company needs good people, an effective process and a good product......Metropolis excels in all three areas. I highly recommend them
