The store is clean, organized. Everything is easy to find. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I was there to purchase some flowers for my center piece but unfortunately they didn't have a lot of flowers like they used to. Overall it was a great visit.
This place was pretty cool, it had lots of different arts crafts stuff. Decor too. It even had the parts of a necklace I thought were "niche" and couldn't find at some stores. Good store.
Update: I went back (the morning after) and I explained the situation and there were super amazing, polite and helpful, and confirmed that yes, it was wrong of that employee to say I wouldn't be able to use the coupon after he should've corrected the price (which he didn't, that's why I had to go back). I also complained about him, and the person helping apologized on his behalf, and I feel bad they had to apologize when they aren't the ones who did anything wrong. I will make sure to come to this location only when the wonderful staff is on shift, and not the other rude person. The rude person man was on shift on Saturday 8pm, dark gray clothes, manning the checkout (I don't remember if they were wearing glasses or not, I was asked). Added more stars for the wonderful morning staff, sadly I will keep it at 3 stars while the rude male employee works there. Horrible customer service. I came here to buy one item, the price tag says it's 4.99, on the register it came up as 6.49. I asked the employee manning the checkout area to correct the price, I took a photo with the proper tag to prove it and checked the tag was correct for the item, and I also asked to be able to apply a 30% off regular price coupon. He said that if he changed the price, the coupon is not applicable, but I said this is the regular price, so the coupon should be applicable. He said he wouldn't be able to, so I asked if we could adjust the price so the coupon discount would already be included when he changes the price. He told me to step back so he could type, even though I only got close to show him the coupon because he asked me to. He was 100% able to put the correct price + the discount, he added it as a damaged item. He said the item is not refundable, I said OK, but then I asked what if the item doesn't work? He said if the item is damaged, then it could be returned. He then muttered "JESUS" like I was a pain. I called him out on his attitude, I said I hadn't been rude. I wasn't rude through the whole interaction, not even when he was so rude to me at the end, I was asking questions, and he didn't wanna help me from the beginning. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I also work retail and even worked at Michael's, I know they can be overworked, so I'm always polite. This employee was wearing all dark gray clothes, long sleeve and long pants. Always take a photo of the floor price tag, they have to CORRECT the price and honor the coupon. Edit: I just wanted to get out of there at the end, so I realized after I got home he didn't even correct the price. I will go back to return and refund the item, and talk with a manager.
One of my go to places for art supplies and more. But lately. There really wasn't anything exciting or inspiring. It's not like it used to be. This year's holiday decor is like last year's left over. Prices are as usual and I can find a good deal if I look hard enough. Otherwise, it's still my local go to for items I know I can count on to be there, and the closest to me. This year was upcycle skulls.
Michaels has almost as many 40% off and 50% off signs as they do crafty items. I found several craft kits in the huge clearance aisle.
