Working with Annie is absolutely life-changing, and FUN. From our very first conversation to every single lesson, her passion for music and teaching shines through. She’s incredibly generous with her knowledge and truly invests in helping me become the best singer I can be—it’s unlike anything I’ve experienced before. She helps me develop better warmup techniques for recording, strengthen my mix voice, and give me the confidence to perform live without fear of vocal strain. But what truly sets Annie apart is her energy and focus on mindset. Yes, she works on technique, gives you exercises, and walks you through the theory and anatomy. But her focus on mindset—helping me build confidence, resilience, and a positive approach—is what has made a monumental impact on my singing. Thank you, Annie! For anyone looking for a top notch vocal coach, I would highly recommend Annie B!

Annie is very knowledgeable and open to tailoring lessons to your needs, genre, experience, etc. I had no previous vocal training of any kind when I started seeing her, and after 9 months of voice lessons with Annie I feel much more confident in my technique, my voice, and my artistry in general. She cares deeply about her students and is a great coach and cheerleader to have on your team. Highly recommend lessons with Annie if you’re looking to take your talent to the next level!

Annie is an amazing vocal coach with a high level of enthusiasm and desire to see her students succeed. She quickly developed a lesson plan for me that put me on the fast track to improving my singing skills. In less than two months with Annie I started getting feedback from band mates that my voice was stronger and more accurate. If you are looking to improve your ability to sing, Annie would be a very good choice to work with.

I found Annie while searching for an experienced vocal coach. Annie always has an animated energy and lessons in her apartment leave me with such an upbeat attitude. I needed help brightening up my tone while singing and I have improved so much from my first lesson. Annie empowers and encourages me at each of my lessons to believe in and trust myself and my abilities as I improve in singing high notes. I was a very shy singer and I was too afraid to sing in front of others. Within a couple of months of lessons with Annie, I auditioned for musical theatre productions and Milwaukee Music Academy facilitated several opportunities to sing in front of an audience, including at Summerfest! Annie has a lot of experience in different styles of music to help her make private lessons feel very personal despite her numerous students!
