My brother and I have been sound check students since the studio opened, and I had taken two years of lessons with my teacher before its opening. The experience at sound check is much more personal than learning through a music store or a school band. It is clear that all of the instructors are very knowledgeable in their area and care about the students' learning.

He's just the right mix of firm, but encouraging—and not at all condescending, the way some music teachers can be with kids. He's done wonders for our son's confidence, somehow managing to convince him to play in the studio's recital after only just a few months of lessons. Great place, great prices, great guy.
