My brother and I have been sound check students since the studio opened, and I had taken two years of lessons with my teacher before its opening. The experience at sound check is much more personal than learning through a music store or a school band. It is clear that all of the instructors are very knowledgeable in their area and care about the students' learning.

I started my voice lessons earlier this year. From the start the staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. My instructor was quick to determine & assess my level of performance. Which greatly helped me start on the correct track. I perform for a living and assumed I was at my peak already. The skill set and technique I was taught has helped me reach new levels and for that I am very grateful.

I took guitar lessons at Sound Check and will be starting my son (7 yrs old) on the drums at Sound Check in the fall. Owner, Mike, is professional and talented. He hires top musician-teachers that work well with students of all ages and skill levels. He is committed to helping music thrive in the community!

Michael has been teaching our 10-year old drums for about a year and we couldn't be happier. He's just the right mix of firm, but encouraging—and not at all condescending, the way some music teachers can be with kids. He's done wonders for our son's confidence, somehow managing to convince him to play in the studio's recital after only just a few months of lessons. Great place, great prices, great guy. We highly recommend Sound Check Studios!

Didn't hire a DJ for my wedding in order to save money, so I rented a speaker system from here. I spoke with Mike and he did a great job matching a sound system to fit all my needs. The price was reasonable and the quality of the product was great.
