Typically, they do a pretty good job, but this last time, my clothes came back wrinkled and they didn’t receive them that way. They were two days late and they are now requesting tips for their seamstress. I think what we pay is for the service the seamstress deliver. I’ll have to find another source to alter my clothing.
Took a jacket in for zipper replacement on Tuesday. I supplied the zipper. They said it would be done by Thursday so I would have it for friday... I went in to check on it Thursday and they said it would be next. Didn't here from them so I went and bought a new jacket because I had the feeling it wouldn't be ready... they messaged me Friday around noon that it was ready. And acted like everything was just fine. 40 bucks would of been fine to pay of it was done in time. 2 other places wanted 20 but they couldn't have it done in time.
I read so many good reviews and specifically went there as they say they can do home furnishings. I have blackout curtains for my industrial loft downtown and I needed several windows completed as it faces south and windows floor to ceiling . I purchased the curtain that matched the rest of window covering . I sent pictures of the each window w/measurements . I call about a week after I dropped off to get status . They had not started on it . Which I was expecting, I was not in a big hurry . I initially spoke to a guy and when I dropped them off I gave home the measurements and the pictures also . When she went to check on what I needed done she seemed really confused . I said 3 windows and a door covering . Explained I needed a seam at top for rod . Still sounding confused . She stated that she would look at it and call me back . She did the next day and we went over it again . I had more than enough curtain to make it happen . I sent row panels of 125 in long and 6 ft wide . I asked what was hard to understand? She got upset and told me to come pick up my stuff . I got upset and stated that it’s been over 9 days and just to do one window and the door covering . She text me that it’s going to be $125 for the two ? At this point I didn’t feel like a had a choice and told her to go ahead and I pick up the remaining curtain and figure something out . When I went to pick it up which was about 5 days later as I had to wait for a paycheck. I went in and she grabbed it and said they didn’t have enough to to the two windows . Didn’t want to get into and left . That whole job took them less than an hour as they texted me in the morning that they will get started on it and a couple hours later I got a text that they where done . I got the two pieces for the door and above the door . The other random items made no sense as the dimensions where no where in my list . I have more then enough material to cover the one window I have remaining ! The customer service was deplorable and the price just as bad . I would not recommend this place to anyone and would give it less than i star if I could . Appalled actually how I was treated!
I am visiting from Boston for a few days and I ripped my one coat I packed. I stopped in and within minutes it was sewn up and back to better condition than it originally was! Thank you Bev for your service and kindness. You squeezed me in and I appreciate it so much! Highly recommend!
I purchased a vintage 1960’s wedding dress back in February for my wedding Friday 4/22/22. Initially, the waist was my perfect size but the bust was large with a dated, pointed bust. I brought the dress to Bev here at Miss Ann’s and couldn’t be happier with the result. She tailored it to fit me like a glove with room for mobility. She even showed my Mom and me how to steam it. Thank you everyone at Miss Ann’s who worked on it I absolutely adore it!
