I used to go to this place. The therapist and Psychiatrist I saw talk to me like I was a crazy person. Yes, I have issues but not crazy!!! I am intelligent and when I brought to their attention about their behavior all of a sudden their behavior changed. To late you showed me your true colors already!!
Some good ones, and some that should retire soon. Ask for Katz if possible. Ask for a supervisor if necessary for better results on your next encounter 😉
Says they open at 8 am. I was informed by an employee the same thing. They do not. They open at 9 according to the sign on the door. A practice in negligence had me and my 2 year old waiting outside in the cold. Will update review after visit
Very rude and unprofessional and just plain unhelpful. Takes forever to get an appointment and when you do you will be basically interrogated over the phone , no matter how uncomfortable you tell them it makes you. The lady I spoke with ( Christina Chavez ,the DIRECTOR nonetheless)was very short with me and made it seem like I was the problem. Just a complete joke that any of these people are licensed to deal with mental health patients. Places like this are the reason there are so many poor , unmedicated folks living on the streets of SF. Mental health care is a complete joke in this city if you're not rich.
I get my medicines from a Dr. at this location. I have had 2, as one has retired. The people who work there are professional and are often dealing with difficult clients; the waiting room is... an interesting floor show of insanity. The staff are fast and on the ball. Very observant and helpful. Clearly they need more $, to provide more services, get repairs done to the building etc; that said - they try very hard with what they have. 2 thumbs up.
