Mission Vet saved my puppy Kevin’s life after he was diagnosed with parvo, and I am beyond grateful. Dr. Robinson, Dr. Sam, Dr. Hindmarsh, Karina, and Angie were all incredible. They kept me very well informed every step of the way—sharing both the good and the bad—and always took the time to explain what was happening. Their honesty, compassion, and constant communication helped me completely trust them during such a scary time. I can’t thank this team enough for everything they did for Kevin and for our family!
Amazing people! I had to take my boy here for a specialist after another SA vets hospital couldn't. I'm not local, 4 hours drive for me. That vet referred MissionVet and they took us in. They treated my boy like he was one of their own. The staff were beyond great, super friendly and I got updates when needed, I was allowed visitations. The dept, and their Drs were great in explaining everything, what could be done and what was needed to be done, way more compared to the others vets hospitals where there was only one option. No run arounds, straight to the point which is the safety and health of the pets that are brought in. They gave me hope and reassurance when I thought that I lost it all.
The team at Mission saved my baby’s life. They provided quick, expert care, and they kept us well informed along the way. If you need 24 hour care for your fur baby, I highly recommend Mission.
Everyone we interacted with on 11/10/25 late night shift was great. From the front desk triage team to the techs and vets, they all cared so well for my sweet baby Henry. We went to Mission Vet for their emergency clinic because he ate a chicken bone. We found out that he had advanced cancer during the imaging at our visit. Dr. Weis was so very kind and caring when she delivered this news, and she went the extra mile to ensure proper diagnosis. I can’t thank her enough for her bedside manner. I don’t hope for another emergency, but if we have one, I hope Dr. Weis is on duty.
Our dog, Dexter, was bitten by a poisonous snake on 9/14. We took him to a different after hours emergency vet to be treated. At the time we didn’t know what had bitten him. They didn’t do any bloodwork or check for snake bite marks, and sent us home after giving him a couple different shots, telling us he would be fine in the morning. His paw was greatly swollen in the morning. We took him to our vet, Fischer Vet Clinic, and they did bloodwork which showed he had venom in system. He was given anti venom, and monitored until they closed. They referred us to NB Animal Urgent Care for overnight care. (This was not the same emergency vet we went to previously). They ran some tests and saw he needed treatments that they aren’t equipped to do, including a possible blood transfusion. Dr. Lang referred us to Mission for further treatment. Mission monitored him overnight and following morning. Dr. Lozano contacted us that morning informing us that Dexter would need a blood transfusion. This was done immediately, and he stayed overnight a second night. His bloodwork the following day showed fantastic improvement, and we were able to take him home that afternoon, the 17th. Dexter has had bloodwork done twice since he came home, and his bloodwork looks great. We can’t say enough good things about Mission and their staff, for how they treated Dexter, and did the needed steps to keep him alive and get him over this serious situation. We would like to give a special shout out to, Dr. Lozano and Angie (who cared for Dexter during the day). Dexter is now back to normal and looking good. Thank you again Mission Staff for your excellent treatment on Dexter.
