I recently had scheduled a virtual appointment to meet with one of the therapists at this practice. The receptionist I spoke to was very polite, helpful and answered all of my initial questions while booking for my initial consultation. I was very hopeful after that call that this facility would be a good match for me! Unfortunately, on the day of my scheduled consult I waited by the phone for the therapist to call. After 15 minutes of waiting, I received a vague text from the therapist letting me know that she wouldn’t be making the appointment with me, no explanation given. The therapist or facility has since made no attempt to reach out to me to apologize or to reschedule the missed appointment. It has now been a week and I will now have to look elsewhere for treatment. Update: Dr Finley reached out offering her apologies to me for my initial experience. She explained this is not their standard of care. She listened to my concerns and frustrations. She then offered solutions and advice for future care for myself. Thank you Dr. Finley for reaching out and taking time out of your day to address this with me.

Tritia is the best counselor I ever had the privilege of listening to and taking advice from for improving myself. I highly recommend her services to everyone that needs it.

I’d describe myself as a philomath. If I’m driven towards anything, it’s growing within who I am at the core and aspiring towards what Ancient Greek scholars referred to as eudaemonia, “the good composed of all goods; perfection in respect to virtue…” I found myself in somewhat of a free fall before I started working with Dr. Finley. I lacked agility in my problem solving repertoire: combating distractions, maneuvering confidently in high stress situations and doing so while steadily gaining ground on the challenging goals I set for myself. I continuously forfeited my momentum towards personal growth by engaging in unnecessary pursuits that only led to unsavory outcomes. Dr. Finley’s playbook has had enlightening affects and really has served as my parachute. It has been through her teachings and our fellowship that I’ve learned how to better set appropriate boundaries for myself in order to mitigate stress and how to thrive in and navigate turbulent circumstances in a gracious manner. An underlying theme when we visit and what I later learned is actually one of the main principles of Stoicism is, “control what you can and accept that for which you have no control.” With Dr. Finley’s guidance, I’ve streamlined my efforts and have been able to enjoy a peace of mind that I estimate few have; I anticipate reaching many of my personal goals and professional goals well ahead of schedule. I consider myself fortunate because I’ve been empowered to truly live my life, and not let my life live me. I will be a lifelong client of hers and will continue building on what she’s taught me as I continue striving towards being the best version of myself.
