Had a great experience with Mac as my instructor. Attempted manual lessons to begin but I decided automatic was a better fit for me. Lessons fit my work schedule and Mac always had a calm and patience presence to make me feel at ease. Passed on my first attempt at Sheildhall. Absolutely would recommend!

I am a licensed automatic driver of 5 years, and wanted to learn manual to be safe to drive in the UK. I hoped that my instructor would treat me as an intermediate driver, but often times during my lessons, I was treated like a beginner. I felt during my lessons we could’ve progressed quicker and used our time more efficiently, especially with the cost of their lessons being so high. Unfortunately I needed to move flats a month before my test, and Mac could no longer cover my area, so he referred me to his partner, Wasim. After a lesson, Wasim said I needed 5 intensive lessons before my test. Intensive lessons were expensive, and I asked if we could do regular lessons, and Wasim didn’t respond. This was stressful, because with the wait times being so long, I was scared of losing my test date, when I felt ready to take it. I managed to find another driving instructor a week before my test, who gave me 3 non-intensive lessons for a more affordable cost, and I ended up passing with 4 minors. I wish I could have given M&M a better review, since most seem to have good experiences, but having had different kinds of driving lessons, and having driven for a good amount of time, I felt it was important to share my experience, as it was not up to the standard of the existing reviews.

I passed my test first time with Wasim! He's an amazing instructor, very friendly, knowledgeable, calm, reliable and I feel he taught me not just to pass but also how to be a safe driver for life! Would highly recommend.
