I took my Teac (vintage 1969) Reel-to-Reel in for a check-up and Benny immediately warned me it would not be worth the extensive repair that might be needed. I definitely believed him because I knew myself of the high R2R restoration costs. So I walked out with a higher-end and fairly priced Teac R2R that Benny had restored. He took his time to demo that the R2R actually played. I will definitely be doing business in the future with Benny for my sometimes irrational audiophile needs!

Benny Amina at Modular electrics! I'll shout his name from the mountain top as the best audio electronics repair technician in the country. He's a skilled sought after audio technician who can repair all analog and digital audio, low and hi-end. He brought my 50 year old Tascam 44 1/4" 4 track reel to reel back to life. I damaged the reel table on the deck and when I hit play it wouldn't engage the play function so while it was being repaired I had it completely cleaned and refurbished with new cap span, pinch roller and a thorough check of the circuitry for continuity. It was money well spent and I'll definitely be back with more repair projects that I have.

Holy cow. This Team is he best I have found. Very honest, tgoughtful, highly trained ear. Helped me get some old stuff sounding great. Fantastic experience. I've been burned by a bunch of these places, but Benny and his Team are exceptional. I feel grateful to have found them.

Had him go through my Pioneer PL-530 turntable and install a new cartridge. Very good work, completed in a timely manner at a reasonable price. He ended up waiting for me to bring the plinth back to him to complete the repairs.
