I absolutely love Mom’s! I had my Wedding dress altered back in 2021 and it was the easiest process I knew I was in great hands. Now my best friend is getting married and she has had Wedding dress altered along with the mother of the bride dress, two bridesmaids suites and my Maide of Honor dress. I will always recommend! Right on time and reasonably priced for the amazing work. Visit with the staff at Mamas they know what they are doing!

I just had the worse experience at your location on 616 W Park Row Dr. This was my second visit and I will never return after being humiliated the way I was. On Aug 2nd I dropped brought off some items for alterations and the gentleman assisting me requested that I pay “right now”. Though it seemed a bit odd, I went along and paid. He gave me a stub and a customer copy of the receipt still showing a balance. I didn’t think much of it since I’d paid with my debit card. Well, I came to retrieve my items today and it’s that same gentleman. As he is handing me my items, I’m handing him a tip and he proceeds to ask for payment. He had no proof that I paid when I dropped off my items. It’s Saturday and there’s more than a handful of people witnessing this. I felt like a criminal. I had to log into my bank account to prove that I had paid when I dropped off my items. All I kept thinking is, what would have happened if I had paid cash? This man made me feel like I was trying to rob him and I don’t appreciate it. I will be staying clear of all your locations.

We brought in my daughter’s 7-layered ballgown to be hemmed for a national pageant, and the results were flawless. The attention to detail, precision, and care they took with each layer was beyond impressive. The gown moved beautifully on stage—and my daughter won the national title! That is absolutely not what happened. We had just seen the original owner 2 weeks prior and took pictures and videos of my daughter in her dress. My daughter cried with joy at the beautiful job the original owner had done tailoring her dress. There were no stains on the dress. We had asked the original owner to add the bra inserts and scheduled to return 2 weeks later to pick up the final product since she had some proms approaching that she needed to take care of the girls dresses. We were even given the total amount due for all her work she had done over the last 6 months (tailored the basic dress to be my daughters dream dress). We had seen “mom” every few weeks for months. When we returned, the girl helping us (who we had never seen before) kept wanting to make changes that the original owner made specifically to my daughter’s dress. My daughter told her No 4 different times. “WE” noticed the stains all over the top and side of the wedding dress and pointed it out to y’all. My daughter was devastated. Y’all couldn’t decide which one of you was actually the owner, you both tried blaming the original owner and then started asking if our dress was used. It was then that I asked the young man there where the original owner was and he explained she had to sell bc she’s fighting cancer and yall were the new owners. The original owners have altered and tailored our clothes for my family, my ex-husbands family, my daughters fiancées family and many more since 1988 and the original owners only exceeded our expectations. Her family also did all the work for the Ms. Texas pageants, etc…that you have displayed on your walls. The original family also received awards that was displayed near the cash register. We have known this family’s work well over many years.

I brought my dress it to get shortened and I got it crooked and small tears… I paid 35 dollars just to have my dress messed up. Don’t recommend going here!
