I enjoy the atmosphere of the place its cozy and warm environment. The staff were quick and helpful. We ordered the mozzarella sticks expecting fresh mozzarella from a place that looks so nice. However ive had the exact mozzarella sticks at Ihop or Sonic premade out of a box and dropped quickly in a fryer. The marinara served with it was good though. The salads were much better than the entrees. The bread served was a nice touch but no olive oil or butter were served with it and it was basically chewy white bread. I really wish they would bring the quality of the food up to par with the vibrancy of the space. I should have taken more pictures. I was hoping for True Italian food but it is very similar to an olive garden.

I stopped by Mondo’s for lunch and got their lunch special with spaghetti and meatballs and a house salad. Both were absolutely amazing! The spaghetti had that perfect homemade flavor, and the meatballs were tender and full of flavor. The house salad was fresh and a great complement to the meal. The best part? All of this was under $20, which is such a steal for the quality and portion size. On top of the great food, the service was incredible - from the warm welcome by the host to the attentive and friendly care from our server. Mondo’s really makes you feel taken care of. Definitely worth a visit for a delicious and affordable lunch!

Only been going over 35 years! Love the beautiful new building ( no more moving locations!) and really appreciate the free parking! Best salad in town! Best Italian garlic bread! Best Manicotti meat sauce in USA Family owned 40 years! They are always there watching to insure they're up to their reputation . Very nice private room for 30 people or rent the upstairs bar for a fabulous party location! The flavors make this our #1 favorite! Call and get reservations!

Not a big fan of Italian food and I don’t like this sketchy area of Peoria. Too much traffic, too many people, painful parking. All of this has kept Mondo’s off of my list to try. I’m running out of places to try, so I’m here. Good timing today. Light traffic, and to my surprise, Mondo’s has lots of easy to access parking. The restaurant is as attractive on the inside as outside. It looks like and Italian restaurant on the inside. Walls covered with family pictures. If you took the time, you could probably identify pictures of notorious mobsters on the wall. Immediately greeted and seated by Sandy. We had a big comfortable booth. We had already studied the menu. My wife wanted Baked Ziti. Pasta, tomato sauce and cheese. Something I would never order. She loved it. It is a soup and salad day. Minestrone and a house salad with the house Italian dressing, for me. Exceptionally fresh crisp salad and zesty dressing. The soup listed as cup size is a big cup. Very enjoyable meals. The ambiance, food quality and outstanding friendly service from Sandy combine to give Mondo’s a five-star rating. It is such a nice comfortable, attractive restaurant it is cataloged in my favorites file. I like it!

Mando's was just perfect. Great experience! The food was amazing. For Appetizers we tried the Calamari and the Hot spinach artichoke dip and both were prepared and presented beautifly. We also tried the wood fire pizza and that was delicious! We ordered several dishes to try a bit of everything and all i have to say is Mandos did not dissapoint! Great service too. Beautiful restaurant and the atmosphere is not just for a romantic dinner but also great for a family get together. 9.2/10 MUST TRY!
