I found this salon on TikTok and wanted to love it because it looked amazing, but unfortunately I’ve been extremely disappointed in the service provided. I paid $115 (discounted from $135) for a basic fill — builder gel on natural nails, almond shape, short length, with a white French tip. The very next day, the white polish on my middle finger chipped. The pink nude base is also splotchy on a few of my nails — the application is not smooth, which I didn’t fully notice until I left the salon. On another nail, the white polish has tiny indentations and little bubbles, giving it an uneven, dimpled texture instead of a glossy smooth finish. Gel polish should not chip overnight, and the finish should not look like this after a service at these prices. This was my second visit, and my first experience was just as disappointing. The light pink polish I selected was applied sloppily and looked blotchy — it was not a smooth application. After trying two different shades, I was told their light pink polishes simply don’t apply well to nails. I have never in my life been to a salon where I couldn’t get the color I asked for because of poor product quality. I was forced to settle for red — a color I didn’t want — just to leave with nails that looked presentable. The owner acknowledged the issue, redid my nails, and offered me a discount on a future visit. I appreciated her professionalism, and that is the only reason I returned. I decided to give this salon a second chance, but I wish I hadn’t. This is an extraordinary price for a very basic service, and the work didn’t even hold up. I am new to the area, but in the places I have lived before, I have been to excellent salons that charged significantly less and delivered far better results. If you are going to charge luxury prices, the work needs to reflect that. Because the owner had tried to rectify the issues during my first visit, I assumed my second visit would be better and felt comfortable scheduling another upcoming appointment for myself, and even one for my mom’s birthday. Unfortunately, given the condition of my nails after this service, I have canceled both appointments and will not be returning.

Jennifer has created an elegant, peaceful, welcoming environment. It’s very clean, comfortable & sterilized. Mily is my shining star, always patient & kind. Her nails are top tier and I always enjoy our talks:-) Highly recommend!!!

Yes, you’re paying a premium — but any regular Mood client will tell you: it’s absolutely worth it. The quality, experience, and care are on another level. I almost hesitate to share my nail artist’s name because I selfishly want to keep her to myself… but Jenifer is incredible. She’s personable, exceptionally detail-oriented, and deeply thoughtful in the way she provides her services. She checks in throughout your appointment to make sure you’re comfortable and happy, and the results are consistently beautiful. If you’re looking for more than just a nail appointment — if you want an experience — Mood is it.
