I had a great experience with Moon Valley Nursery from start to finish. The emails and text notifications leading up to the planting were clear, timely, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole process feel organized and stress-free. On the day of the planting, the team kept me informed with detailed explanations about how the tree would be planted and the fertilizer they were adding to support healthy growth. Brandon took the time to walk me through everything, answered my questions, and made sure I understood how to care for the tree going forward. The planting itself was quick, professional, and clean. The tree looks fantastic in the yard and was placed exactly where we wanted it. Overall, this was a smooth, well-communicated, and high-quality experience. I’m very pleased with the service and would absolutely recommend Moon Valley Nursery to anyone looking for a hassle-free tree planting experience.

My wife and I stopped by Moon Valley today to finally bring some life to our barren, rocks-only front yard and we’re so glad we did! Rick came right up to help us out and immediately offered a free design consultation. Within minutes, he pulled up our property on Google Earth, created a plan right there on the spot, and absolutely nailed it. We loved his vision instantly! Thanks to Rick, we left with a clear plan, the perfect plants, and the excitement to finally have our dream yard. Brandon and his crew came out today to plant my 16 ficus super trees. What a great job they did! 16 holes in record time and they left the planting area better than they found it. Brandon was very informative and he did a great job teaching me how to take care of my new trees. Everyone at Moon Valley was great. Thanks again

We have been working with Rick Chavez at Moon Valley for just about 1 year now. He has been INCREDIBLE! Not only does he offer top notch landscaping recommendations, but he is just an absolute pleasure to work with. A genuinely good human being. We are so grateful to have found him! We moved into a new build home in December 2025. Sadly, the builder had not been caring for the plants & trees properly, so shortly after we moved in, several ficus trees in our backyard were dead. He picked out amazing replacements (23 of them!) and was miraculously able to keep it within our budget. Since then, we have worked with him on various other landscaping projects, and he always delivers great customer service and competitive prices. We will ONLY use Rick at Moon Valley Nurseries from now on!

We’ve bought two trees and several cacti from Moon Valley over the past couple of years — and they’ve earned our complete trust. Prices might be a bit higher than elsewhere, but the quality, selection, and service make it more than worth it. The Tatum location is beautiful and inspiring just to walk through. Today’s delivery crew, led by Joey DeSilva, was outstanding — friendly, professional, and made sure I knew exactly how to care for our new Southern Live Oak. They really treat customers right. We’ll be back for another tree soon!
