I want to share my experience with Motion Law so others are aware before choosing this firm. My biggest issue has been the lack of communication. My calls almost always went unanswered, and every time I reached out, I was told my paralegal was “busy” and the attorney was unavailable. Messages were constantly “passed along,” but I rarely received actual updates unless I followed up multiple times. Another serious problem was related to my G-28. Motion Law changed offices after my G-28 was filed, meaning USCIS still had their old address on record for all correspondence, including my green card. When USCIS mailed the card, it was returned as “undeliverable” because the attorney’s address on file was vacant. When I contacted the firm about this issue, the receptionist again told me everyone was “busy.” Later, I received a text saying: “Your green card has been produced and mailed to our office. Once received we will contact you.” This made no sense because I had already confirmed directly with USCIS that the card had been returned due to the vacant address. The information from Motion Law was completely inaccurate. I eventually stayed on hold with USCIS myself, fixed the mailing address to my home, and that is the only reason I finally received my green card. The firm played no role in resolving this problem. To make things worse, this communication problem wasn’t new. Back in March, I emailed Mireya directly to express how frustrated I was with the lack of communication overall. Her response at that time did not include any apology or acknowledgment of the concerns I brought up. Nothing changed afterward. On top of that, I have dealt with multiple different paralegals throughout my case, which caused even more confusion. There is no consistency, no follow-through, and no one seems to fully understand your file. Overall, the entire experience was stressful, avoidable, and deeply disappointing. Based on everything I went through and after reading many reviews from others with the same issues I cannot recommend this firm to anyone. Motion Law lacks basic communication, consistency, and accountability, and you will probably never get a real response unless you call and email multiple times. For an immigration law firm, this level of communication is unacceptable.

I highly recommend Motion Law as we were able to get my wife’s Green Card in only 4 months after filing. Yes you read that right. We were gathering evidence since May-July 2025. Then it was submitted/filed to USCIS on Mid-July 2025. Got her biometrics on August then her work permit arrived September. We were then scheduled for the interview first week of November and after 2 weeks my wife’s Green Card arrived. Super fast. I was expecting next year. It was unbelievable. And we are so grateful to the team who helped us specifically Atty. Shelby and her paralegals. Just also want to say this if you’re still looking for law office to help you with your immigration case. How quick or long the process is will be depending on your case, not everything will be the same. My suggestion is, how well you prepare your evidence will greatly help. Make sure you are not missing anything that they told you to prepare. It is true for me and my wife. Even though we hired a lawyer we also reviewed our forms, signatures and even documents. I suggest for faster processing anyone should do the same. Yes we hired lawyers to help us but we also have to do our part and review every detail so you don’t get RFEs. That usually slow down things. Also, you can’t reach them sometimes specifically the lawyer as most for them are in court/interview with another client. That happened to us and then I realized how long they have to wait to be with you in your interview and that means there will be calls unanswered during those period of time. (Because some USCIS office don’t end up calling you based in your interview schedule especially if there’s a lot of people and only few officers). We waited almost 3 hours even though we already have an appointment. Anyway, I hope anyone reading this will have peace and no matter what the review it is your call in choosing your law office. Was told my childs father could be brought here in as little as 6 months, hired in May, sent the wrong contract to sign, was bombarded with notifications asking for money outside of the fee schedule, asked me to pay the full fee upfront instead of the fee schedule in the contract, never responds to messages, never responds to emails, didn't even receive a phone call to over the application until July (already 2 months late) was told the application is being filed in August, called in October for my receipt number that was never provided to me &was asked for signatures for the application that was supposed to already be filed 2 months ago (&only 1 month left until the provided deadline) now they only have 9 weeks to get my child's father here before our baby is born &it sounds like they havent even begun to work on our case. I sure hope for their sakes &ours that they can perform miracles or I'll be taking my money back &my business elsewhere &will be reporting them to make sure they dont harm anyone else. If there is one thing people should know not to do its mess with someones family or child. I'll update my review as details unfold.
