This could be a nice climbing gym, but it is poorly managed. The staff is kind, but there is zero oversight of the climbing areas. There are kids unattended, running through the climbing area and under people climbing. They need a floor supervisor for the climbing areas. They allow people to wear street shoes to climb in, this is very unsanitary. I have never seen this allowed at any other climbing gym. The staff is not allowed to correct poor / unsafe behavior. I wanted a membership at a climbing gym, but after one visit this place is a no. It is also priced to high.

Been climbing here for years and the downfall of the gym is so apparent...I don't even know where to begin. Fired great, long-time staff as part of a private-equity union busting scheme, route setting has gotten less frequent, bathrooms dirtier, membership prices continue to increase...I could go on. Staff at the front desk borders on aloof to straight up un-welcoming and un-friendly. Safety standards have gone down - I hardly ever see staff walking the floor and constantly see people belaying incorrectly - both on TR and lead. Community is still mostly there...you know it's bad when everyone says the same thing and constantly complains about the gym's demise.

This is a really great place to climb. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the walls seem well-maintained. I am a beginner and there was plenty for me to do.

Decided to visit Movement with a friend of mine after looking at some climbing gyms in the area. TLDR, this is a solid climbing gym. Nice people and very clean. Plenty of boulder routes and a nice top rope area as well. Bouldering: All the boulder walls are fairly graded by the route setters and there are plenty of route to choose from. There is also small top out area as well, which is pretty cool. And, its all pretty spacious so while resting you don't feel cramped and in peoples way. Top Rope: Plenty of top rope routes that I saw, but didn't spend too much time there to comment. Gym: Very nice and spacious weighting area. Clean and people are very aware with re racking weights. Quality equipment as well for any type of fitness activity. *Front desk can validate your parking* Overall, a 5/5. Very solid climbing gym.

Me and my partner were in from the Bay Area and decided to check out this gym to compare to the gyms in our area, and we were thrilled we did. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helped us get settled in for first Friday and we then got to climbing. The routes were awesome and there were some holds that we haven't seen before at our local gyms and it was awesome to try everything. Also loved the bouldering area being its own thing away from the top rope. The members were really nice and welcoming and we really felt at home by the end of the session. If I lived here I would be a member in a heartbeat, both the top rope and bouldering areas were very large and you won't get bored easily.
