If you’re looking for salsa or bachata classes, this place is a gem. The instructors are talented, and the studio is super convenient for me since I live just 5 minutes away. Plus, the free parking garage is such a perk, no need to hunt for parking.
I’ve been in LA for almost 5 years and was on the search for a good salsa studio that was priced reasonably. I’m so glad I found these guys! Danny, Inna and the instructors really care about the students, and the lessons are top notch.
What I really appreciate & is a bonus - is how they build community. They don’t just offer classes, they also have regular practice sessions on Fridays, social gatherings, and chances to get to know other classmates. As someone who's not from LA, it’s nice to meet new people and make friends while learning the beautiful art of dancing.
This is a fun and welcoming place to learn salsa & I’m glad I found them and finally signed up. One of my 2025 goals, checked off 💃🏻

Brandy Tevesvia Google I am so happy that my husband and I went with Movers and Shakers!! When looking up salsa classes in the Pico-Robertson area, my husband and I found a couple of options and decided to go with Movers and Shakers after seeing reviews and looking at their website. We signed up for the salsa 101 class (and have already signed up for salsa 102) and I feel confident in saying that Daniel and Inna have designed a very intentional salsa program that is very efficient. Each class teaches a new skill that builds on a previous skill and I can tell that they teach these skills in a progression that makes the most sense for the learners. My husband and I came into this with ZERO dance experience, but the instructors teach in a way that has helped us grow so much.
In addition to the quality and thoughtfulness of the program, the instructors create a great sense of community. My husband and I have made tons of new friends in our class! They also have optional Friday practices, free parking, and a space that allows for us to come to class early to practice!

Alook Mozinder Boruahvia Google One of my favorite parts of the week was my 10-week salsa 101 program at Movers and Shakers. I genuinely looked forward to every Tuesday evening. Even driving all the way from East LA was worth it, the energy and excitement of the class made it something I never wanted to miss.
The entire MaS team is incredible. Danny, Ariela, Inna, and Kyle are all amazing instructors, and Danny’s high energy, welcoming personality, and accommodating approach make the studio especially beginner-friendly. As someone with no prior dance experience, I always felt comfortable, supported, and able to enjoy the process to the fullest.
Excited to continue with more classes!

Robert Khedrvia Google Such an unforgettable dance experience! I joined Movers and Shakers 10 week salsa program and this truly been the best part of my week. Ariela, Azero, Kyle and Danny are amazing instructors to bring some excitement for the class and always coming with a smile. They are very helpful as I've been able to use what I've learned when salsa music plays which is amazing. So happy with what I've accomplished and a lot of great people in the class too. Looking forward to the 102 programs and more dancing in the future. WooHoo!

My husband and I drive from West LA for our SELSA 101 class(10 minute drive), and it’s 100% worth it every single time! Danny and Ariella are such amazing teachers. Ariella makes everything so easy to understand, even for total beginners like us. The energy, the music, and the people make it such a fun experience. We’ve learned so much and honestly can’t wait to start 102! If you’re thinking about joining—just do it, you’ll love it!
