Not at all happy with this so called “MR. HANDY MAN” business. The woman person on the phone can’t stop talking over you to get the correct information that has to be related to the person assigned to do the work. I specifically told her that I just wanted a bid / estimate of what it was going to cost to do what it was that I needed them to do and she sends this guy to my house thinking that he was going to go ahead and do the job right then. The contractor was totally misinformed and I was confused to what was going on. Also the contractor wasn’t too experienced. I could tell this by the way that he was doing things. Things that you definitely shouldn’t do and should know better not to do. I’m searching elsewhere. SMH. 🙄🤨😡

Bad Review for Ron - Solar Automatic Fence Installation I strongly do not recommend hiring Ron for fence installation. I paid $2,730 for a solar automatic fence, which was completed on 7/28/24, with a 5-year warranty and a promise to call him directly for any issues. Unfortunately, this has been nothing but a nightmare. Immediate Issues: The gate wouldn’t close properly on day one. Despite being promised two remotes, I only received one and had to wait a week for the second. Repeated Malfunctions: By 8/1, the fence stopped working. Ron attempted to fix it on 8/2, but never gave me control over how long the gate would stay open. It was initially set to 30 seconds, which caused my gate to close on my Lexus, damaging both sides. After insisting, he adjusted it to 90 seconds on 8/3. Ongoing Problems & Ignored Messages: 8/4 – Remotes stopped working. 8/6 – His son had to come help. 8/9 – Fence stopped working again. Ron said he’d call the manufacturer. 8/20 – Gate wouldn’t close. Ron ignored my messages for days before finally responding, asking for photos, and claiming he’d schedule a technician. 8/29 – After failing to show up, he ran an extension cord across my backyard to power the gate, instead of fixing it properly. 9/10 – Welding started coming apart, and one side wouldn’t open properly. He promised to fix it but never showed up. Repeatedly ignored my calls and texts for months (from 9/23 to 2/21/25) while my fence remained broken. Poor Quality Work & Unprofessional Behavior: Used lower-grade pine wood instead of matching my existing cedar fence—he claimed it would eventually match, but it never did. Left cigarette butts and debris in my yard. Made a mistake drilling a hole in the pole and covered it with black tape. Exposed wires sloppily patched with electrical tape. At this point, I have had to zip tie and drill the gate closed myself just to secure my property. Ron has been completely unresponsive, unreliable, and unprofessional. Do not waste your time or money hiring him.
