To my fellow curly hair, mixed complexion girlies- MU8 is a must! Proudly owned and operated by a woman of color, I was beyond thrilled with their service! Patrice is organized, transparent, and fantastic with communication/expectations. We had Colleen for hair and Brielle for makeup. I had my trial with them a few months prior and they were amazing. They took the very minimal critiques and executed a perfect bridal look. I booked hair and makeup for my sister, my mom, and MIL. My sister and I are/look very similar and we went when similar hair and makeup (soft glam, updo with accentuated curls). My mom and MIL are very fair skin and rarely wear makeup. Brielle did an amazing job with their makeup (even using my MIL own product she preferred) ensuring them that although it can feel like a lot, it will do them well for pictures and she was spot on. They were friendly, professional, and a joy to work with. Thank you, Patrice, for your amazing team and fantastic communication throughout the process!

I wholeheartedly recommend MU8 for hair and makeup for your wedding!! I also did the facial package leading up to my big day and my skin has never looked so flawless. Patrice is such an awesome person, she makes you feel right at home right off the bat and will be your biggest cheerleader!! Women uplifting women!! My girls and I looked so breathtaking on my husband and my wedding day. I initially did not feel that my makeup compared to my trial and my makeup artist made sure she fixed it and I felt my most beautiful! I could not have asked for a better team and you could not ask for a better group of women to take care of you on your big day! They also got us finished in record time it was amazing!!
