I've had consistent 5⭐ experiences at Muddy Paws. They take amazing care of my hairy beast lady (large husky lab mix) and have collaborated with compassion and professionalism on ways to care for her as she's aging (she turns 15 soon). I appreciate their care and expertise and won't go anywhere else!

I have brought my dog to Muddy Paws since 2023. I have had a great experience taking my dog to get groomed here. I always purchase the additional spa package. They always take into consideration every detail I want and they make it happen. I am always happy and satisfied with the results.

I was referred to Muddy Paws by a colleague. We had a new addition to our home - a rescue sheepadoodle. His fur was not in great shape and Muddy Paws did their best to help but he needed some extra care from the vet next door to really address the matting and his anxiety. Muddy Paws was so accommodating and apologetic that they could not quite finish him up. Even though it had nothing to do with them, they did not want to charge for the service. Fast forward three months and many at-home combing sessions later. We brought him in for his first real spa day and Muddy Paws did a FANTASTIC job. He looked fantastic and was so happy. He looked like a show dog - his fur was in perfect condition. I cannot say enough good things about Muddy Paws. From the customer service to the grooming services themselves, I have been very impressed. They truly care about the experience for everyone involved.

WE LOVE MUDDY PAWS! We get both of our Aussies done here and drive over 30 minutes from Collinsville to get there - it’s absolutely worth it! The prices are very reasonable, the facility is clean and welcoming, and the staff is wonderful!! The first time we went in, I picked them up and wanted one of my dog’s hair to be a little shorter and they were happy to take her back in and do it. We will always use them not only because of their excellent services but also because this company supports women and helps them get the training they need to be successful. So happy to have them! I highly recommend the spa package!

I have never left a bad review for a place, but I’m doing so now for those thinking of bringing their little ones here. For background info, my dog has been groomed every 4-6 weeks since he was about 3 months old (now a year old). We decided to give Muddy Paws a try yesterday. My sweet puppy spent hours there (around 6 hours). Long story short, I received a call on the way to picking him up that the groomer he saw for the day no longer feels comfortable seeing him in the future as she “doesn’t want to hurt him”. I was very confused but did not voice my questions. They stated that the manager would be willing to see him if he gets on calming meds (named a specific medication and MG amount) and that they had to be the ones to give it to him… They said because he was nervous, his hair cut “didn’t look very good”. Because I know he gets anxious, this was COMPLETELY understandable! What wasn’t so understandable was after we checked out, the groomer showed us where his private parts had been cut. The next morning, they are a fire red all over and he is in a lot of pain. We were charged full price plus the tip option. All of that to say, if you have a little anxious one and are looking for a groomer, please take his experience into consideration first. 🩷
