What a neat place. We were here for a bike event out in the parking lot- repairing kids bikes and teaching road rules and things. It was First Friday in Multnomah Village so there was a bunch going on in the Arts Center too. It was fun. Multnomah Village is a super cute little neighborhood. Go there.
Our first time coming in we politely told the reception lady this was our first time here & asked where we needed to go for pickup. She didn’t greet us, just gave us a nasty look. Reception lady responded to our question with a large attitude. She said “they are probably over there”. She knew it was our first time here & still didn’t care to help us. It’s as if she wanted us to walk around the entire building aimlessly until we got where we needed to be. She made us feel stupid for not knowing where to go. Also she had responded as if we were annoying her for doing her job. If she treats adults like this I wonder how she is treating children.
I CALLED AND THERE IS NO SUPERVISORS NUMBER TO BE GIVEN BECAUSE HE IS THE DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER. HOW CONCERNING. Extremely rude information desk people. Never been here before and was waiting in line to ask where a class was. They immediately went up to the kids I had with me telling them to be quiet before addressing me. If their noise was an issue I could've quieted them down, but apparently they have 0 respect for other adults. Multiple people in this area too and not one could point me in the right direction. I thought this place was for children as many children were coming in and out. I didn't realize they had a problem with children playing. I feel extremely uncomfortable here as no other rec center in Portland has ever acted this way before. Also I told the man NOT TO APPROACH my GIRLS before he walked up to them, he completely disregarded me and walked up to them. I don't know if they have something against brown kids in general, but that is what it felt like because these are elementary age kids who are very respectful. They continued to talk about the situation in the office as we walked away with new people as they all stared at us. One child being a toddler.
Excellent job by Sean and the team at Prestige!! The team did an amazing job on both of my cars. The cars look better than when they were new. I'm a REPEAT Prestige customer and cannot say enough about the great work of the Prestige Team. At 81 I've had a lot of cars detailed over the years, Prestige is the BEST!! They deserve more than 5 stars---at least TEN STARS!
Great place, many classes with diverse interests.

Where creativity meets community in the heart of Portland.
