5 stars! I’m learning guitar here and it’s been such a great experience. Rocco, Miles, and Thomas are amazing instructors—supportive, patient, and super easy to learn from. The vibe is warm and encouraging, and the studio is a place you actually look forward to coming to. They offer group classes and private lessons, and the group class is especially fun because you learn by playing songs together, which makes practice feel natural and engaging. I also love that you can explore different genres like Jazz, R&B, and Rock, so you’re always learning something new. Bonus: the location is really convenient/easy to reach, which makes scheduling and showing up so much easier. Highly recommend!

Being a student at Musicians Playground has been a 100% positive experience for me. The schedule fits perfectly mine, one of a busy research professional. Being a complete beginner hasn’t been a problem at all to take voice and piano lessons. I also love that is it community oriented, with monthly events to gather everyone, and very friendly - teachers, staff and students alike. MP corresponds exactly to environment I needed to learn music from scratch as an adult - a brave endeavor, but MP makes it easy!

I joined Musicians Playground as part of the Volunteer Program. Over the last 6 months this place has become a home in many ways — from getting to know the dedicated team and the talented teachers, to becoming a part of the lovely community that is created in this space. I am incredibly grateful for the countless Sunday mornings spent in this studio 🫶

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to learn the guitar. I'm starting my guitar journey later in life and last year I fully committed to playing every day. I used several apps which were helpful but I still had so many questions. I decided I needed in person lessons and I found Musicians Playground in a Google search. I'm so glad I found them! MP is essentially a music academy. They offer one on one lessons, group lessons, open mic night, Keyboard, vocal and guitar lessons. My instructor Miles (Berkley grad) has been a huge help. The accountability has been one of the biggest differences in my growth. The studio is usually buzzing with activity and offers such a great setting to learn. I now blend my daily on line learning with in person at MP. I'm now plying entire songs, learning music theory and have made great progress over the last 12 months. Highly recommend MP!

I've been taking guitar lessons at Musicians Playground for almost a year and I've had a great experience. The instructors are top notch - thoughtful listeners and will work with you to try and get you where you want to go. My playing & music theory understanding have measurably improved and I'm excited to see how much more I can progress. The group sessions and happy hours are wonderful opportunities to collaborate with other students. The staff is welcoming and friendly. As someone who plateaued with my guitar playing in college, this has been the perfect place to grow.
