Food was acceptable. I ordered futo maki, and my date ordered salmon maki. Tuna and salmon sashimi did not taste particularly fresh, though it wasn’t inedible. The salmon maki was average. The potato croquette and futo maki were the stronger items, largely because they are difficult to execute poorly. The issue was service. While the staff was efficient, their frustration with the length of our meal was evident. A dessert menu was pushed onto the table, and immediately after we finished the tiramisu (which was very poor), the check was presented without any interaction. If fast table turnover is required, the restaurant should implement and communicate a time limit, as many do. Absent that, a baseline level of professionalism should be maintained regardless of how long guests take to dine.
