Some of the rudest, most aggressive staff I have ever experienced in any customer facing environment. We walked in at 5.30pm as a family, changed over our money into coins, only to be told that the facility was 'already closed' 10 minutes later...every minute for the next 15 minutes...by every member of staff in the building...multiple times. The manager, who is a bespectacled fair-haired middle-aged man, was the worst offender by far. In short, he walked over and told us to get out at 5.45pm in a rather aggressive fashion. A quick check of their opening times online told me that they weren't due to close until 6pm, so I challenged the manager at that point about when the official 'closing time' actually was, with the response of "now". I pointed out that he'd have to refund the tokens my eldest was working through on his game, which we'd loaded up shortly after entering, eapecially if he wanted to kick us out early, at which point he just threatened to "turn the machines off". The aggression with which I was met was totally uncalled for and immediate, especially in the presence of children and the whole incident ended with the on-site security ushering the manager away as even he recognised how aggressive the manager in question was being. Are there opening/closing signs in the facility I hear you ask? No, absolutely not. Did we have any reason to believe that it was due to close 10 mins after walking in? Definitely not. Was my family and I treated like a trespassers immediately at that point? Yes, without question. I could not recommend people to avoid this place enough. Go to the arcade in Archies' roller rink instead, the games are better there too. And if the corporate/PR review these reviews I would suggest having some serious words with the staff/management here or I could see this branch meeting the same fate as the Southbank branch, purely by driving customers away in droves.

Very helpful staff member. Today, I had forgotten my VIP card and was worried I couldn't redeem a prize I really liked. Fortunately, Stephen was very supportive and helped me throughout the process to recover my details and ensure I got my prize. Many thanks to him for the help.

We had a brilliant time at Namco Funscape Manchester. The venue is fun, lively, and perfect for families, with loads to keep everyone entertained. What really stood out to us, though, was the fantastic customer service. A huge thank you to Beth, who went above and beyond to help us find my son’s lost sweets. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and reassuring, which made a potentially stressful moment turn into a really positive experience. Her support genuinely made our visit even better. We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Namco Funscape Manchester to others!

Lovely visits each time me and my family go to Namco. My daughter also loves it and the staff is delightful, makes the whole experience even more fun. One particular staff member, Iqra akash, stood out as she has been very helpful towards us making our bowling experience so amazing!

Went here today for my birthday with my Mum and Dad using the wristband (at the time of this review) to get the bowling for £5 per person. Great location in the heart of The Trafford Centre with friendly and professional staff, lots of arcade games and a fantastic bowling alley :) Highly recommended!
