I had a pretty uncomfortable experience with one of the staff members today. While ordering, the cashier commented on what we were wearing and asked if we were from New York because we both had on Moncler. When we said we purchased it in Los Angeles (I actually remembered it wrong I bought it when I lived in Bos), she responded with “California likes to copy New York” and implied that Moncler is a “New York thing.” I’m actually seeing there’s an exact review from another customer with similar experience regarding this NY CA comment from the same cashier. This felt inappropriate and unnecessary. Moncler is from Europe (LOL) and it is totally a global brand. She was making assumptions about where customers are from or suggesting what they “should” or “shouldn’t” wear based on geography, this comes across as judgmental and unprofessional. We ended up speaking with the manager afterward, who was very kind. She mentioned she would address it with the staff immediately and ensure appropriate action is taken if this behavior continues.

Visited Nana’s Green Tea as a matcha lover and tried both their hot and cold matcha. Surprisingly, the hot matcha stood out, richer flavor and smoother than the cold one. The ambience is great, which makes you want to come back and try more flavors.
