We had a wonderful experience with Nancy’s Custom Upholstery. They did beautiful work using high-quality materials, and the craftsmanship and stitching were excellent. We really appreciated being able to take fabric samples home to choose from, and their advice on thread counts to help prevent cat damage was incredibly helpful. They also took great care transporting the chair back to our home. Friendly, knowledgeable, and truly a pleasure to work with — highly recommend and will be going back there in the future.

I had an excellent experience with Nancy’s Custom Upholstery in Norfolk, VA. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship were outstanding — the stitching and overall finish were top-notch. VERY fair pricing. They also took extra care protecting the chair for transport back to my home, which really showed their attention to detail and pride in their work. Nancy and her daughter is Amazing!!! They are so nice, kind, fair and honest. They are very professional and do quality work. She will tell you if it’s worth the investment and she is affordable. I highly recommend this business. Nancy is absolutely the best.

If i could give this business a 0 i would have, ....here is the story....i have been trying for over 10 months to get nancy to upholster 7 chairs, i have sent texts, made phone calls, then the texts go unanswered for weeks and weeks. she may be good at what she does but horrible answering phone calls, returning calls, answering texts and returning texts, this lady is a questionable business person or has memory problems one or the other, because this is a big order and i just cannot get responses from her for over 10 months!!....very very frustrating. maybe she has so much business she does not care, but the person answering the phone named katy is great, nice, friendly, maybe she is running interference for nancy....katy always says nancy will get back with me asap.......crickets now for months. when i do get a text response it is always 'i am waiting for material to come in, when i have not even picked out a material yet !!.....whattttt ??........tired of waiting for months and months !!.....really...........sad way to run a business....very sad. hope nancy reads this and fixes her procrastinating habits....my wife and i going elswhere and i would suggest if you read this you do the same.

I'm a fan. Using customer-provided fabric is a concession that few upholsterers provide. This was a great find and Nancy did justice to some unique fabric I provided with US Navy Pilot wings. Take a look!
