From the moment I walked in, it felt like dining in New Orleans. I loved the vibe immediately. The drinks were excellent, and the food did not disappoint. My favorite were the little pancakes. I’ve been daydreaming about them ever since. We ordered four dishes and I was already full, which only means I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. The service was outstanding; our waitress was attentive and on top of her game. I can’t believe I didn’t discover this place sooner.

i've been wanting to come here since they opened back in 2017 & am SO HAPPY I FINALLY MADE IT!!! it's definitely one of the top restaurants i've been to in houston so far. every aspect of this place from the ambiance to service is obviously very well thought out, and despite the restaurant being (rightfully) packed, we never felt rushed or congested. the menu has a variety of interesting items -- a little bit of everything for everyone. this place is for both foodies AND the casual eater. we ordered the bluefin tuna belly (a must), roasted mushrooms (a must), cheeseburger, & nancy's cakes. there's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, but you probably have a better shot at street parking!

Drinks: old fashioned and a special wintery margarita (“Good” something. It was really good and refreshing!) Starters: Bluefin Tuna Belly, Nancy Cakes. Entrees: Butternut Squash Tortellini, Grilled Ribeye with Sticky Rice. Dessert: Toasted Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. We have been to Nancy’s twice and gotten the ribeye both times. We love it! There are plenty of places to get an expensive steak in Houston, but Nancy’s is our favorite. The atmosphere and dining experience is unique with different charms than you can find elsewhere. The sauce they use on the steak as well as the sticky rice with all its additional flavors to eat in combination with it make it truly stand out. We also have enjoyed the Nancy Cakes twice now and loved them both times. Combined with the Tuna Belly, they make an excellent combo. The tuna belly itself was insane. The toast it comes on added the perfect crunch to the buttery melt in your melt texture of the tuna. The tortellini was amazing, with a perfect brown butter sauce that left the flavor of the pecans and the squash shining through, and the pasta was cooked to perfection, not mushy at all. The ice cream was such a great finisher, a shocking surprise of what great chefs can do with vanilla ice cream. Not boring nor something to skip over on the menu at all! The spice in there with the toasted almonds was just the right way to finish out the night and left me appreciating all that Nancy’s Hustle does to provide great and exciting food. We also got fries, which were really yummy and crispy, we were just too full. But we took them to go and are still eating them. Saying this as a testament! We would totally stop in just for fries and a cocktail sometime! Also, we wanted to shout out our server, Morgan, who somehow delivered top tier service on New Year’s Eve night! All of the staff were excellent and even accommodated a special request, which we were more than willing to work with them and wait for. They kept us up to date with constant communication and made sure we got drinks while we waited at their cute entrance. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you, Nancy’s!

Cool ambience, friendly and attentive staff and amazing food. Wait staff and bartenders are very knowledgeable and take time to answer any questions you may have and offer insights to the menu. Half chicken had amazing rub, burger was juicy and delicious, croquette hit the spot for fried food, pickle party added freshness to your palate, Nancy cakes were just beyond words, even as basic as fries had its own story that made it shine. Tip- if you can’t find reservations, just go when they open at 5! It’s actually great to have slow dinner and go out after for drinks and cruise the night starting early!

Good vibes, solid food, room to grow into the fine-dining experience they’re aiming for. Nancy’s Hustle has a great atmosphere and clearly puts effort into creating a unique Houston dining experience. The vibe is fun and the food itself is good, you can tell there’s real skill in the kitchen. That said, for the current price point, especially with the ribeye at around $6 per ounce, I expected a bit more refinement in execution and value. The cut was flavorful, but a noticeable portion of it (maybe 3–4 ounces) was just rendered fat and grease, if that’s typical for this preparation, I might be off, but it did make the portion feel smaller than expected. Service was friendly, though our waiter seemed understandably rushed, which gave the impression they might be short-staffed that night. We were seated outside, and unfortunately there was an occasional unpleasant odor that disrupted the otherwise nice evening. Overall, Nancy’s Hustle feels like a good restaurant that wants to be great, the foundation is there, but a few refinements could really elevate the experience to match the prices. I’ll absolutely give it another try down the line and hope to update this review when those details catch up with their ambition.
