It was our very last morning in Vancouver and we wanted to try some of the “best” breakfast sandwiches in the city. The mortadella supreme has a ton of hype, so we had to give it a try and it does deserve the hype. The croissant is so nice and toasty while the sauce helps cut the richness of the cheese and egg yolk. The egg was also cooked perfectly and just came together so well with each component of the sandwich. It is rather expensive, but if I lived near a nemesis coffee I would get this sandwich regularly.

Visited Vancouver this summer and decided to try this place after seeing it all over Tik Tok. It’s a busy spot but service is swift. The atmosphere is clean and cozy, and although we did take out there was a variety of seating options. Ordered a cappuccino and their ‘supreme croissant mortadella sandwich’. The coffee was bold and flavourful and the sandwich was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had - months have passed and I still think about it, wish they had a Toronto location!!

Nemesis is one of those places that everyone in Vancouver seems to talk about — and while the food is definitely above average, it doesn’t quite live up to all the hype that the socials are giving it. The presentation is beautiful, the ingredients are clearly high quality, and the space itself has that trendy, minimalist vibe people love. That said, it feels a bit more like a place to be seen than to truly relax and enjoy a memorable meal. The dishes are tasty, but not mind-blowing, and the prices reflect the hype more than the experience. Worth visiting once, but not quite the life-changing brunch spot social media makes it out to be.

Great place if you want to catch a quick breakfast or grab a sandwich/pastry to go. Food is tasty - you can tell it’s freshly made. We really liked the avocado toast, mortadella supreme and the Espresso pain suisse. I think they do food better than coffee (not their forte imo) Overall, it’s a very solid breakfast spot.

We came several times and were impressed with the pastries and service each time. There was always a line when we came, and all the workers are super friendly. All of the pastries are fresh, and the banana pastry was amazing (although quite pricy). Some of our other favourites were the Queen and almond croissants. Their brunch is also great, especially the mortadella sandwich. Drinks are also great too. Would highly recommend.
