Cannot recommend enough, the kids' classes have become an important part of our family's routine over the years and we're so glad to have found them. Supportive and patient teachers, great community (both in the adults class and kids' class students and families) and just generally a great place to study martial arts. Even on a tight budget I think the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of classes.

Our son has been in the Kids Kung Fu class for over two years, and we love the training and community of Shaolin-Do Kung Fu! Sifu Sam and the other teachers are incredibly patient and engaging with the kids.

I love the drop in Tai Chi classes that are held two mornings a week. I had little experience when I started; Sifu Sam, the other teachers, and everyone in the classes are all incredibly welcoming and patient. I am very picky about my teachers, and I have adored every class. Because of my schedule, I am sometimes missing for weeks and then pop right back in and pick back up as a perennial beginner. Each class is a little different which makes it fun. The students make up a lovely and diverse class experience in that way that New Orleans does so well: different backgrounds, ethnicities, ages, genders, etc. Image is of Sifu Brian demonstrating a fan form.

My son has been attending the children's class for a year and a half and it has been a wonderful experience. I first approached the school because they were very clear about their schedule and monthly fees. I have seen my son really blossom under the training of the head sifu and other instructors. He has learned so much and really enjoys practicing with his classmates. There is a well-defined and well paced curriculum that the kids follow in order to gain their belts. I expect my son to continue for many years.

Such a welcoming studio with really nice people teaching and practicing together. I mostly take Tai Chi with Sufi Sam and he does such a great job teaching to different levels and keeping everyone moving, challenged and comfortable. I feel so peaceful and grounded after. Highly recommend!
