It's been fun to train. I'm not welcome anymore but I still recommend them. Wing chun has given up on me but I won't give up on it. All the lineages have similarities and differences. Chu Shong Tin's lineage is taught here. Joe the Sifu is a good representative for wing chun, has a board position with the Australian Wing Chun Federation, is kind to his students, promotes a good environment in which to learn and continues to hones himself and show a good example. As mentioned I am not welcome here anymore unfortunately but I still recommend the quality of the school. This school focuses on relaxation, spinal and joint control, joint mobility as well as most importantly concentration. In my opinion from what I've seen in others and experienced so far these particular focuses transcend all movement disciplines. Wing Chun and this lineage has been focusing for example of scapular depression, spinal elongation and posterior hip tilt any of which you'll find in finer studies of movement. So I recommend practicing here. Maybe I will be welcome again one day. Even on my dying day I will still want to be training here. Been doing so for over half my life in this lineage. PS. The scapular depression in conjunction with the focus on relaxation has now alleviated the need to have shoulder surgery. Because of this practice I have been able to train the shoulder as it always should have moved and lengthen the life of my shoulder. Joe can teach this but you do need to pay attention, give it your all and do homework as well for it to really have an effect. But relaxing that shoulder and depressing the scapular has a massive effect. So it's you get surgery or rehab. Either way you need your shoulder. This has given me back mine. Also helped with my cervical radiculopathy as well and this helps a person actually learn how to stand properly without tiring and if done correctly the spine elongates simultaneously.
Been training here for a little while. Effective methods. Helps free me up and help me move well. Good for my well being. Kind and supportive class members. Shall continue to train here.
