We found Next Stage Design + Build in the Diamond Certified Directory. We met with them and liked the way their company worked. They work with the Buildertrend app where you can see the daily/weekly work schedule and know what will be happening on any given day. Of course things change, but they keep the schedule updated. You can also make payments on this app. You can see pictures of daily progress also. The staff at Next Stage are the very best, always professional and always courteous. It is a company where I trusted them to be in our home, whether we were there or not. You can text/email/contact them at any time and they always responded quickly. We started out with thoughts of design on our own and ended up going with a design their project designer drew up for us - it turned out to be great! Their cost might be higher than some others, but we feel you get what you pay for, and basically they "hold your hand" and guide you through choosing materials which kept us within budget and we are very happy with their suggestions and the end product! We added a bathroom, reconfigured our existing bathroom into a masterbath and changed out windows/door and even got a nice closet and beautiful porch! We would highly recommend Next Stage Design + Build if you want a trustworthy and great contractor! They all take pride in their work.

It is my absolute pleasure to write a review for Next Stage Design and Build so that others can feel assured in working with this amazing company. We had never done a home renovation before and had no idea what to expect other than what others told us about their own personal experiences with other companies.. We were so hesitant to do a remodel because it’s difficult to find someone who speaks highly of their renovation project and who would refer us to who they used. It was by chance that I found Next Stage via a google search and I am so grateful that we chose them to complete our extensive remodel. Our addition consisted of only an additional 180 sq. feet but the way the design team reconfigured our entire interior layout allowed for us to gain far more than square footage. My husband and I have talked extensively about what we love the most in our home now and it goes back to the original design layout that Next Stage came up with for our home. We are still living in only a 1,500+ sq. ft. home and yet we feel we have gained SO much space and functionality in our home. This design was everything to us and we cannot thank them enough. Lastly, the team at Next Stage is one of the greatest groups of people you could work with. Our home and our project was always a priority to them and their communication, dedication, and professionalism was exceptional. We entrusted them with a home we love and adore and they treated it as if it were their own. Each and every day I am so thankful for the place that I get to live in and call home. To the Next Stage Team, I am so grateful for what you have given us.

Working with NextStage to remodel our home was such a great experience. . They were able to accommodate our need to stay in our house during the remodeling and divided the scope into two phases without too much disruption from the construction. Even when ran into issues, NextStage team were always able to respond to our concerns and addressed them accordingly. The end result is our 1960 original fixer-upper becomes our dream home which is both beautiful and functional! I highly recommend their service!

I have used Next Stage twice for remodeling projects and have a third one in the works for next year. The most recent project was a quite a major project to move the front of my house forward, redo 4 bedrooms, add a custom closet and enlarge and update a bathroom. They are involved in every aspect of the project - design, material selection, demo, framing, arranging sub-contractors for the specialized items, etc. I am very happy with the final outcome. They are a great team to work with.

We recently did a project with Next Stage to convert our second floor attic space into a bedroom suite with a bathroom, laundry room, and closet storage. This was a complicated project that involved a lot of changes elsewhere in the house such as structural improvements through placement of beams in the crawl space and connecting up through existing walls, adding a staircase, lowering the ceiling height in the living room downstairs to make room for plumbing, reorienting the kitchen layout, and resurfacing the flooring in the entire house. Throughout the project the Next Stage team anticipated the work that needed to be done and provided very clear plans and explanations. The job proceeded on time and the end result is even greater than our expectations. This was a wonderful experience to work with Next Stage and we would definitely choose them again if we ever have another project.
