I am from a far west suburb of Chicago, so I had to rely on the Internet to find a photographer for my July 2017 wedding on the steps of the Madison State Capitol building. I looked at many websites, but a stunning photograph of the state capitol caught my eye on Nick Wilkes' website, so I carefully looked at his portfolio and read his bio. I quickly sensed Nick's warmth, passion for his work and professionalism through our phone conversation, and I hired him immediately. He proved to be all of this in person. Our experience was all we could hope for and our photographs are stunning. We took a leap of faith in Nick, because we had no connections to photographers in Madison. I am thrilled that we did!

Nick was so fun to work with during our wedding. He really has a way to make a person feel at ease in front of a camera which is no small feat. Also, we had many small children at our event and Nick was great at getting shy kids to participate in our photos. Prior to the event Nick met with us to help plan and he was very flexible when we changed up where we wanted to shoot family photos the day of the event. Plus he really encouraged us to have some fun on the shoot which put us at ease so we could enjoy the day.
