My sister and I booked a Portfolio Session with Michael to celebrate our birthday, and it was fantastic! I chose him for his work's moody, creative aesthetic, and he perfectly captured the subtly witch-like vibe we were going for. Michael is talented, has a great instinct for art and photography and was comfortable to be around. He has an organic approach that lets shots and ideas happen naturally during the shoot while still honoring your specific vision. After the shoot he sent over the raw images for us to pick our favorites and his raw images were so fantastic that I would have happily walked away with them as is! In fact I did request some of our final shots in both the unedited and edited versions. If you’re thinking of a photoshoot for any occasion but want something a little or a lot creative I highly recommend Michael and Nilas Photography.

Can't recommend Michael highly enough! He was flexible, worked really hard, and took amazing photos. He managed to balance capturing the day and took some stunningly dramatic pictures. If you're looking for a chill dude will talent, the Michael is your guy!

We had the most incredible experience working with Michael for our engagement and wedding photos! My husband (!!) and I are normally a bit nervous about having our photos taken but we’re already at ease by our first meeting. Our photos were better than we could have dreamed of and I can’t stop looking at them. Not only is Michael a talented photographer, but he is also just a warm and fun person to be around - I plan to request Michael anytime we might need a photographer beyond our wedding photos, and feel so grateful to have met someone I trust to capture the beautiful moments of life we hope not to forget :’) ALSO he works very quickly and got our 841 wedding photos in LESS THAN A MONTH! I can’t say enough amazing things ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I got engaged I knew I had to find a quality photographer who’s work fit my vibe, and boy did I find one. Michael was amazing and also extremely helpful with guiding everyone for photos. Planning your own wedding is stressful so I know that without Michael things would’ve gone crazier than they did LOL. Michael was kind, funny and delivered on his quality work. He was the first vendor I booked because I knew exactly what I wanted. I cannot recommend him enough. Absolutely amazing and I’m getting sooooo many compliments on the photos. I will forever cherish these

Michael was an amazing photographer for our wedding! He was friendly, easy to communicate with, and the photos turned out beautifully. It was like having another friend at the wedding. He went above and being to capture stunning and candid moments. It seemed like he was everywhere all at once because he really got it all! I would highly recommend working with him for any photography needs you have!
