A very nice fitness gym but in this day and age, I’m paying a lot more attention to how businesses run and help their local communities. I will never understand gyms that charge high subscriptions, while nonchalantly removing the resources and amenities we thought those high fees were covering. They are kind of taking advantage of the strong gentrification in that area without offering any funding programs for the residents that survive on lower income. We all deserve access to nice fitness communities like Mass Boulder. I just wish the owners felt the same.

Climbing facilities and training space are top notch but you wouldn’t realize that based on their Instagram presence, you’d think it’s just a yoga studio lol. The route setting here is fantastic and the setting team does a good job of keeping the gym feeling fresh and new consistently. The in-gym shop is great and has a great climbing shoe selection they keep well stocked. It only took years to improve the towel situation but with the new washing and drying setup it seems to be keeping the towels stocked even during peak periods.

Best gym in the Midwest, no question about it! Clean, great facilities, a lot of boulders, kilter, moon 2019, and tension board (I heard soon to be TB2). Good price for all the amenities included!

Not only are the routes incredible, but the staff is super helpful, and the gym is massive. Everything is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail—handwashing station next to the bouldering wall, tape and a first aid shelf nearby, phone stands for filming your climbs, and free tampons in the restroom. I absolutely love this place!
