Came to NoLibs Vet for a second opinion on some masses my dog has, as well as to discuss overall health as he’s now a senior. I felt very listened to, and also very informed as Dr. Burbano took the time to explain everything that was going on, as well as a range of options going forward. Also to note- the Dr actually got on the floor with my pup and did a nose to tail exam, something my former vet never did. They were very up front about pricing for everything, and were very understanding of my needs. Both receptionists, as well as the tech who took care of us (I regrettably forget her name!) were all very polite & informative. I would highly recommend NoLibs Vet & also Dr Burbano to any one looking for a new vet!
They have been the vet for my Boston Terrier since we moved to Philly 2 years ago. We’ve seen Dr. Smith primarily who has been fantastic and thoroughly explained everything and patiently answered any questions I had during our visits. We’ve also seen Drs. Pirok and Burbano who were also great! Asia, Katalina, Amanda and Rynn are super support staff and are always friendly and lightening fast in responding to emails and calls and relay messages too and from the clinicians. Their fees are very reasonable too and they have never run up the bill with unnecessary tests. They are all thoroughly explained and well justified. I enthusiastically recommend NLVC for anyone looking for kind, thorough and compassionate vet care in Philly!
Dr Smith, nurse, and all staff were amazing. Above and beyond and exceeded my expectations! They took wonderful care of my Han Solo aka Mr Chonkie boy. Thank you!
Great place that offers great care for Pets and their family. Large, clean environment with knowledgeable, helpful and Compassionate staff. May 29, 2025 we had to put our German Sheppard puppy Zeus to rest, the staff was nothing short of compassionate. The staff really care for the animals. There is accessible parking and cremation option as needed. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You from Zeus’s Family.
Been a faithful customer since 9 years ago. I moved to the suburbs but continue coming here just because I love this office so much. Two cats, one dog. Prices are not particularly cheap but the staff is most understanding and never pushes anything on you. They LOVE animals, and the animals always know if you do.
