Read carefully the contract. I am paying $80 for two kids, but maximum time in playground is 1 hour per day only. If you will be late, they will charge you extra.
Your inventory of fitness equipment is the largest and most impressive I’ve ever seen. Your personal trainer, Keyshaun Childs, is excellent. Front desk staff are genuinely friendly. I like the wide range of ages, fitness levels, and races with whom I share the gym.
I loved this place! Almost all the employees are very friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. Some even know you by name, which is awesome. The facility is always clean, which is a big plus. One time I spilled a drink, and the cleaning guy cleaned it up right away. I wanted to clean it myself, but he said it was okay. Then the front desk girl gave me a water bottle since mine had spilled — totally a lifesaver! My only issue is with management. I have no idea what’s wrong with the head guy, Osiris — he’s always very rude. Multiple times I’ve seen him get angry at employees and yell at them for the smallest things. I’ve filed several complaints about the way he talks to the staff. One time, I was having a conversation with a front desk employee (I won’t say any names), and the whole time he kept staring at us. I mentioned to him how nice and helpful the employee was, and his response was, “Only if they worked as much as they talk.” Seriously? The employee was helping a member, and he still had the nerve to get onto them. The way he speaks to the cleaning crew is also very disrespectful. During the summer, he was constantly yelling at the kids at the pool to keep it down. Seriously — they’re just a bunch of kids, and it’s summer! Let them have some fun. The way he treated a special-needs employee was disgusting. That person is no longer there, apparently. I don’t know if they decided to quit or were let go, but I truly hope they left on their own and realized the toxic environment that management creates. I was finally able to get the corporate phone number, and I will keep calling until I get a response.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely love this YMCA! The staff here are some of the friendliest and most helpful people you’ll ever meet—they truly make you feel welcome every time you walk through the doors. The facility is always spotless, from the workout areas to the locker rooms, which makes such a big difference. It’s clear they take pride in keeping everything clean and well-maintained. Whether you’re here to work out, swim, or join a class, you can count on a great experience every time. Highly recommend the NorthPark, North Fort Worth YMCA!
Helpful and friendly staff, clean facility, and great classes to choose from. Absolutely LOVE the Silver Sneakers classes! I'm kicking myself for not getting involved in them sooner since I've had my membership at the YMCA for some time now. The instructors are engaging and the classes while gentle are very effective.
