Been going here for years with my kids. Such a fun place for them to run around and play around with some music basics. They also have two karaoke rooms and a bounce house.

Our six-year-old has been doing drum lessons for about one month, so it’s early to review but thus far it’s been fabulous. He’d asked to play an instrument about 1.5 years ago; during his “musical petting zoo” it was obvious that his focus wasn’t quite there. The teacher had still been really patient and my kids walked away excited about the future idea. When he asked again this year, they let us do another “zoo” (where they play multiple instruments” PLUS the less expensive trial drum lesson the following week. At each step they’ve really seemed to support where he’s at. The drum teachers both were chill and enthusiastic. I don’t know how he’ll progress talent-wise, but our goal was moral a positive experience. We are definitely getting that!!!

My daughter has really enjoyed her time at Notasium and has taken the Jr. Notemakers class twice now. The teachers are friendly, creative, and make music fun for little ones. However, I was a bit disappointed this time around because the class was advertised as an independent learning experience meaning children would participate without parent assistance. In this session, nearly every child (except mine) needed a parent in the room to help, which changed the dynamic and made it confusing for my daughter since she was told it was a “kids-only” class. I still think Notasium offers great exposure to music and a wonderful space for kids to explore, but I hope future sessions keep a clearer structure between parent-assisted and independent classes.

Been here several times and the kid loves it. Apparently there's a lull in kids mid-afternoon so that might be a good time to go if your kid doesn't like large crowds. I’ve gone to a few birthday parties here and each one has been great. They include play time and an activity. At one we made a home made kazoo which the kids loved.

Kids love this place! My friend's son had a party there recently and all the kids and some adults had a ball playing in the common area and singing along with the staff during the music time. My friend provided the decorations but everything was set up well. The party ran smoothly and the staff were on top of things. No complaints.
