I’ve been to NQ64 in September time and enjoyed the experience. I was let down when we went for Christmas party. Many of the machines were down due to rowdy groups out for the festive season who were misusing equipment. Perhaps more security inside than just on the door to keep rowdy large groups in check. I was disappointed that pinball Deadpool and time crisis 3 were broken. I really wanted to play guitar hero as it’s always so busy but we realised it was free because one of the guitars wasn’t working. Even the machine to get change for the claw games was down. I usually really like NQ64 and their cocktails are so fun. The bar staff are outstanding and so kind but perhaps need an extra member of staff later in the evening when numbers increase. Please get machines repaired in near future as I feel it’s not worth the money to not be able to play a range of games. Especially be on top of repairs during the festive season as high footfall and very drunk work night outs. But bar staff making cocktails are the real stars! Some of the festive cocktails missed the mark but the regular cocktail are outstanding enjoy cherryvania, lake Springfield and princess peach 🔧🔨🔩

Great variety of games, good beer selection, staff are really nice, tables so you can have a sit down between games. Decent value for money so you can get a solid amount of games in! Photobooth is a bit pricey, but obvs totally optional

This place is such a contrast to the rest of the aesthetics that make Glasgow. Definitely a good vibe to have a party or to play some retro games.

I visited NQ64 with my girlfriend on Saturday for the Supercharge Weekend Experience (£40 per person, which included 4 cocktails and unlimited tokens for 1.5 hours), and unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. Several machines we tried were either broken or limited in use: - Guitar Hero – the left guitar didn’t work. - Time Crisis 2 – restricted to one player for most of our visit. - Time Crisis 3 – only playable solo. - Deadwood pinball machine – out of order. - X-Men 4-player machine – unavailable. - Plus a handful of other machines with issues. My gf and I both love the Time Crisis games & Pinball, so we were particularly disappointed that Time Crisis 3 couldn't be played multiplayer and Deadpool Pinball wasn't available. It felt like many of the games were suffering from heavy wear, possibly due to the busy festive season. By the time we left, the venue was absolutely packed, which only added to the frustration. On top of that, the festive cocktails we got were a letdown. The Muppet cocktail was unpleasant, and the bar queue was so slow that we didn’t even manage to get all four cocktails within the 1.5-hour window. Overall, the concept of unlimited tokens is excellent, but the execution fell short. If I return, it definitely won’t be during the Christmas rush. Additionally, we were unable to access any of the consoles. They were always taken, and anytime we waited to get on one, we were basically wasting the 1.5 hours of unlimited tokens we had available.
