Highly recommend Number Works'n'Words Oxenford. My son has been going for four terms for English now and his confidence and ability in his reading and writing has improved immensely. Julie and the team are very supportive and provide regular feedback.

My daughter is currently in Year 7 and has been attending Number Works ‘n’ Words in Oxenford for almost a term now. Before commencing English and Maths tutoring, her term progress was sitting at a ‘C’ grade for these two subjects. She was feeling incredibly overwhelmed as she had previously been an ‘A’ student for several years prior and was frustrated as to why new concepts in English and Maths were difficult for her to grasp. With the help of Julie and her team at Number Works ‘n’ Words, my daughter has flourished in such a short space in time, mentally and academically. She is back to feeling self-assured in her ability to complete assessment tasks and knows her strengths to be able to apply them in a way that’s valuable and productive. According to her classroom teachers, she has already significantly improved in these subject areas on recent assessments. Our son has been attending Number Works Oxenford for several years and we saw a very fast and dramatic improvement in his understanding of maths including a dramatic improvement in his school performance. The system offered here really worked for our son and without hesitation can give it our highest recommendation. Really great team and effective tuition in all areas.

I would like to commend Julie and her team at NumberWorks’nWords Oxenford on a great job in showing my son how to enjoy Maths! He has been struggling with Maths his entire schooling, and thanks to Julie & the team has gone from a consistent C/D student to achieving a B+ on his most recent report card for Maths. Highly recommend the team if your child is struggling and you wish for them to succeed. Julie and the team have really helped our son’s confidence!

My experience with NumberWorks’nWords Oxenford was amazing. My daughter had been struggling with Math for some time. She was very reluctant to allow me to provide any guidance or assistance as she has a fear of failure and doesn’t want to disappoint me. When I suggested seeing a tutor, she was interested as she understood that she was falling behind. Her first experience was positive as the staff were friendly, supportive and encouraging. When I collected her at the end of the lesson, she was excited and couldn’t wait to go back again. Over the time my daughter attended NumberWorks’nWords, her Math confidence grew quickly. I believe that the individual, supportive attention she was provided allowed her the opportunity to take risks and learn within a safe and comfortable environment. The manager, Julie, was excellent at keeping me informed about my daughter’s progress and was very understanding when we were late due to traffic, ensuring that my daughter still received her full time. Unfortunately, as we are moving interstate, we are unable to continue next year but will look for a NumberWorks’nWords at our next destination.
