Delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend the dumplings and the 8 ounce filet and honestly any of the steaks. We finished with a pecan pie we absolutely adored. Perfect for a night out or celebration! We did have a bit of a wait even with a reservations (15-20 min) due to the table before finishing up but the service after and during was responsive and well timed.
A fantastic dining experience that matches the elegance of its atmosphere with its creative and delicious menu. The restaurant was absolutely bustling and the vibes were immaculate, with good music and an ambiance that cannot be beat. The service was fantastic, and our waiter was extremely well informed and helped ensure we chose outstanding dishes. Everything we got was amazing, and the appetizers were especially outstanding - the hamachi crudo was even more delicious than expected and the octopus was crispy and dynamic. The steaks were also cooked to perfection, and the dry aged flavor really stood out. From the sides, the Brussel sprouts held their own against the fancy appetizers and elite steak, managing to still be a highlight. Nuri is definitely at a high price point, but an experience worth having. Grab a reservation to be sure you can make it in.
A top tier restaurant that breaks the normal mold of your everyday hoity-toity steakhouses that focus solely on what we normally expect - unfortunately, the restaurant knows this as well and thus charges and arm and a leg for it. Here’s what we got: - burrata: splendidly done. Just a good ol’ burrata. No notes. - Hamachi crudo: good crudo. But nothing outstanding. - 36oz Tomahawk: we asked for it to be prepared medium rare and medium rare it arrived. Fantastic steak with quite a few accompaniments like kimchi, samjhang, peppercorn sauce and a few other things. Delicious, but severely overpriced at $300. - 10oz filet: not as tender as I’d have expected. Still good. - lobster mac and cheese: brother in law was a fan and said it was better than all other places he’d had this before. - Brussels sprouts: solid Dessert: hummingbird cake: think a banana bread or carrot cake. It was alright. Wouldn’t have again Service was good. Nothing memorable. Ambience: definitely a take on modernistic majesticism. Would I visit again: probably not. Why? Despite the food being great, It cost $700 for 5 people. And gratuity was automatically included for a party of 5 which was not large at all. People should undeniably tip. However, having it be automatically included is undeserved. I hope the pricing is reevaluated so this place doesn’t suffer a fate similar to Nusret.
Great cocktails to start, beautiful decor with upscale warm chill vibes. Sharables were all very delicious; my fave is the steak tartare. Steaks and entrees were hit or miss; dry aged steak was underwhelming with not as much flavor as expected, but the wagyu strip was great, keeping in mind the price. Service was amazing for a group although you could tell they were a bit stretch. Recommended for a nice group dinner. Only con: valet drivers can't drive a stick shift 🤷
i decided to celebrate my birthday at nuri bc of all the good reviews on tiktok. food didnt live up to the hype. i got dumplings ( best seller), octopus and ny steak. dumplings cover is dry, the truffle sauce doesnt have much truffle taste. octopus is so so, the veggies are burned & bitter. we were so excited for the steak but it was tough ( deceived by the look but hard to chew). two of us didnt finish the steak as they were not good. server came to ask and when we provided the feedback, he seemed to avoid it and asked us what dessert we wanted. we got free lemon cheesecake as a birthday offer and it was ok. the server didnt bother to ask how we actually felt after that. we felt disappointed about the dinner but it wasnt really bad. would suggest you check carefully before you want to go here
