My favorite luau experience yet! They treated us like family and took great care of my son who has celiac disease. He received a food card when we sat at our table and when we went to the buffet he exchanged his card for a prepared plate of gluten free fare that was nearly the same as everyone else was served. All the food was 'ono (delicious)! The property is beautiful, the performers were great, and the experience was breathtaking.
I was hesitant to go to a Luau due to the cost and fear that it would be a tourist trap but was PLEASANTLY surprised by this one. The group size is small of about 50, the property is gorgeous (plus the drive up tantalus is a plus), the food is really good, and the staff is awesome! They had the perfect amount of “show” going on while also being genuine and sharing important history of the island and culture. There were 6 performers when we went. All extremely friendly and hosted us through out the whole thing. (I wish I remembered names!!! Sep 23rd crew) They performed multiple demonstrations and dances, did plenty of activities with us, and fed us lots of food (they made a hefty plate and offered more food multiple times). There was only one child attending but I think that’s because school is in right now. I think it would be comfortable for kids. It did rain for about 3 minutes and they provided ponchos for everyone, free of charge. They also made a great maitai. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family that visit. Mahalo 🤗🤗
When looking for a luau, my family had a few “wish list” items. We wanted a smaller more intimate luau with tasty food and beautiful scenery. 🌳This luau exceeded our expectations. Although the road to get there is made up of winding and narrow roads, the views and trees are magnificent. The performances were great and the staff was very interactive with the audience. The food was delicious, the pulled pork was flavorful, tender, and moist. The bread was soft and full of flavor. And the desserts we had were a pineapple cookie, a coconut square, and pineapple slices. Parking was on the property, although there were no concrete specific places to park and we parked on the dirt. I’ve been to a larger well known luau before, and this in my opinion was beyond comparison. I would highly recommend this luau 🙌🏝️
This was our first luau, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! We were looking for some thing that was not so commercialized, and had hundreds of people attending. We were pleasantly surprised that Nutridge Luau at Nutridge Estate holds less than 100 people total. The luau was 4 hours long with lots of cultural and interactive dancing and games in an intimate setting. The views were spectacular! The food was authentic and the whole experience was truly amazing! Mahalo to everyone who participated and making our experience unforgettable. ❤️
Not your everyday Luau. Very intimate, personable, there were about 60 guests when we visited. The education and interaction were exactly what a Luau should be, earthy. Nothing flashy. Felt more like a backyard BBQ than a Vegas show. The staff was amazing and so hard working, there were maybe 2 dozen people that worked every aspect from shuttle driving, greeting, performing, serving and clean up. It was impressive to watch. The food was phenomenal!!! And the location is impossible to beat. Worth every penny.

Honolulu's most intimate and authentic luau experience, where culture meets breathtaking views.
