We had Frankie as our server he was one of the coolest servers we have ever had. He made sure we had everything we needed, very quick with getting it and made sure our experience was up to expectation. The food is phenomenal and anything you get I can guarantee will be amazing. This was our first time here and we couldn’t have anything better to say about this experience.
Five Stars all the way. We absolutely love this place and we will be back We ate outside on the cute little patio. But we loved the atmosphere inside as well. We had drinks at the bar before we sat down at our table I have nothing to complain about. The service was exceptional. I wish I could remember our waiters name. He was awesome. It was the young guy from Minnesota with the baby. Ha! The filet mignon, the scallops, the au gratin potatoes, the cream spinach, everything was amazing. It was pricey, but I do not mind spending money on exceptional service, fantastic food and a great atmosphere! I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
We stumbled upon Oak and Ember during our first walk around old downtown Stuart on an early Sunday morning. Peering through the window, I told my wife, “I want to try this place.” Last night, we finally did — and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is spot-on: it looks fantastic, feels fantastic, and even smells fantastic. Our waiter, Frank, was one of the most friendly, attentive, and genuinely charming servers we’ve ever had anywhere. I ordered the rib chop (ribeye) with a side of shredded Brussels sprouts, and my wife had the steak medallions topped with crab meat. Every bite — from the mashed potatoes to the sprouts to the perfectly charred steaks — was spectacular. The chef clearly knows that great food doesn’t need gimmicks; just top-quality ingredients, open-flame cooking, and simple seasoning — salt and pepper done right. Toni, the GM, stopped by to check on us and made us feel truly welcome, as if we were longtime regulars. And we will be now, for sure. If you go, ask for Frank, and during your meal, say hello to Toni. There’s something special about a high-end place that makes you feel at home — and Oak and Ember absolutely nails it.
Frankie my man! Your service was out of this world. I am a restauranteur and I can tell you that this place and specially your attention was one of the best I’ve had. My wife and I are definitely coming back to this restaurant. The food is super unique, the drinks surprise you and the attention holds your standards to the highest level. First time here to celebrate my birthday with my family, and what a wonderful experience! The restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Stuart. I had my mind set on the tomahawk steak, so our server, Francesco, suggested we try the surf-and-turf for the table — tomahawk steak with lobster tail and two sides — and I’m glad we did. We also ordered a filet mignon and started with an appetizer of empanadas. My sister-in-law is vegan, and the kitchen was kind enough to prepare a special vegetarian pasta dish just for her — a thoughtful touch. I brought a bottle of my favorite Bordeaux, and Francesco graciously decanted it for us. I was impressed by his wine knowledge; we even agreed that Opus One isn’t worth the big price tag — I’ll take Dominus any day! The tomahawk steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The lobster tail was slightly overdone but still tasty. We especially enjoyed the sides — truffle fries, mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. Francesco was exceptional: attentive without being intrusive, and he truly elevated the evening. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable meal and dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!
