The food was excellent and the location was lovely, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. For a restaurant charging $40+ for a main course, the lack of professionalism was unacceptable. Despite there being four of us with a simple order of four items in total (one entrée, one main, one salad, and a kids' meal), we waited over an hour for our food. It took 30 minutes just for the entrée and kids' meal to arrive, and another 30 minutes for the beef cheeks and salad to follow. When we raised the issue, the staff's response was frustrating. The lady simply asked, 'Who served your table?' and apologized only because her colleague hadn't asked us about our timing. She then actually blamed us, claiming we hadn't 'instructed' them properly. As a guest, I am not interested in internal finger-pointing; I simply expected a sincere apology for the delay and for our food to be served together. While the setting and the meal were great, it is the restaurant's responsibility to coordinate a table's pacing—not the customer's job to manage the kitchen. Blaming the customer for a total lack of coordination is completely unprofessional. I will not be returning.

Fantastic lunch at Ocean View Estate. We had a 3 course lunch with wine paddles. The Singapore prawns were lovely as was the calamari. The beef cheeks were amazing as a main, matched with the Shiraz, absolutely delightful. Hubby wants to go back for the beef cheeks and Shiraz alone! Hubby's green chicken curry was delicious topped off with the bombe Alaska and chocolate tart for dessert. Staff were friendly and attentive and the location and view simply wonderful. Highly recommend.

As new residents to the area, we were keen to visit after hearing great reviews. What a beautiful venue! Staff were a delight and very welcoming- taking the time to stop, talk and answer our questions. The food and service were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The bonus- the wine was spectacular too! We tried the Pinot Gris and the Riesling and took some bottles home. We are so happy to have Ocean View Estate Winery as our new local place to dine and take in the beautiful views. Barb & Jason

I cannot thank Allison and everyone at Ocean View Estates for helping my husband and I with the most perfect wedding day. First off, Allison was an absolute pleasure and took our vision (or lack thereof) and ran with it - she really is exactly what we needed leading up to and on the day. Second, the staff were absolutely amazing - thank you so much for putting up with us and our rowdy guests. Third, the venue/food and accommodation were perfect! We got married May 2025 and are still absolutely reeling from the most amazing day of our lives. We are still getting compliments from our guests saying how amazing everything was. Cannot recommend OVE enough! You guys deserve all the awards in the world!

Very scenic. Was a lovely experience went here with my partner for his birthday. We did the wine and dine in the vines experience. In total we tried around 9-10 wines each throughout the day. Each tasted different and unique. The food was good and the service the staff gave was excellent. Both the tour guide and the waitress we had were very friendly and pleasant. Absolutely loved the cheeses. We both agree that it was a great experience for the cost and would love to return again at a later date.
