We have used The Fitzgerald for our work end-of-year celebration for two years in a row now, and it has been fantastic both times. Shael and his team are incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with, which makes the whole planning process stress-free. The venue itself is a great blank canvas that you can truly make your own. They offer a wide range of package options to suit every budget, and you can either use their catering services or organise your own, which gives great flexibility. Every year, we receive nothing but rave reviews from our team after the event — everyone comments on how great the party was and how much they loved the venue. The AV equipment is excellent for videos, music, and speeches, and everything runs seamlessly on the night. One of the biggest highlights is that it’s a private venue, so we had the space entirely to ourselves. This meant we could really let our hair down without being separated or disrupted by random guests. The moody lighting on the dance floor, combined with the disco ball, creates such a fun atmosphere. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of The Fitzgerald. If you’re looking for a versatile, well-run venue with a fantastic team behind it, you won’t regret choosing this place.

We had the pleasure of hosting our engagement party at The Fitzgerald - it was an amazing event! From the start, Shael was super flexible and easy to communicate with. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We were able to access the venue early to set up decorations and tailor the venue to our needs. The bar staff on the night were so lovely, with regular check ins with Shael to ensure the night was running smoothly. We had so many compliments on the event from our guests. There is nothing we would change! Thanks again to Shael and the team at the Fitzgerald for making our event amazing.

Fantastic night at a fantastic venue. We could not have asked for more or better support from Shael and his team at The Fitzgerald. They allowed us to bring our own production (theirs is already great, but we had specific additional requirements) and that set up A Night at Sample Space for a great success. Together we took intimate electronic gigs in Brisbane to whole new level and was only possible through the excellent communication and reliability we experienced from start to finish. Congrats to the crew and appreciate your amazing worjk in making this happen withus. Would not hesitate to book in here again.

Shael and his staff were so friendly and made sure our engagement party ran smoothly. The Fitzgerald is a beautiful and well equipped space, and Shael allowed us to come earlier in the day and set up our own decorations as well. They were kind and friendly and even helped us out with wedding planning by providing us with the drink summary from the night! Shael offers many reasonable prices and choices for food & drinks and even a portable ipad photo booth! Thanks again Shael, we had a great time and will definitely be hosting more parties at The Fitzgerald!
