OEB is one of my favourite spots for brunch, the food is always amazing and I never have any complaints. Our server Alyssa was super sweet and amazing to chat with, I will definitely ask for her for my next visit!

I just popped in here on a whim because my usual spot was packed for my birthday, and wow, am I glad I did! Brielle's service was amazing. The food came out super fast and was absolutely delicious, and I got the best iced coffee I've had at a breakfast place in ages, made just how I like it. The food was awesome, but Brielle was still the star. 10/10, totally recommend.

This was my second visit, and the only word I can use is excellent. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is great — large windows, plenty of natural light, and a relaxed space where you can enjoy breakfast, get a bit of light work done, or bring family along. What really stood out, though, was the kitchen’s flexibility with custom requests, which is a massive win and not something you find everywhere. Hats off to the team.

Low rating is for service. We visited OEB today for my brother’s birthday brunch. We added ourselves to the online waitlist beforehand, which made getting a table quite easy and smooth. A nice bonus is that they validate parking if you park in the underground lot, which is really convenient. Once seated, we placed our orders. The food itself was delicious, fresh, flavourful, and well presented. However, one of the dishes was noticeably small, and we ended up ordering an additional dish. The biggest downside was the service. Our server barely checked on our table throughout the meal. We noticed her standing at the counter chatting with other staff while we were trying to get basic things like more coffee, placing an extra order, getting the menu again, or asking questions about the dishes. Each time, we had to flag down other servers who were kind enough to help us instead. It felt as though our server was disinterested in serving our table, which took away from the overall experience. With more attentive staff, the experience would have been much better especially for a special occasion.

Went to OEB for brunch on a Friday morning. Found paid street parking just right across on Pioneer Ave. I was kinda worried about parking and lineup as the last time I was here was 3 years ago when they first opened and it was for Sunday brunch. I still reserved a table just in case. Parking was easy and no lineup. Our server was friendly and greeted us right away and seated us in a booth beside the kitchen. We have a view of Main St and we could also see the action in the kitchen which was fun to watch. I got the matcha latte and it has a strong matcha flavour and the right amount of sweetness. Then we ordered the Get Shorty Rib Poutine and the Croque Madame Crostini. Both of which were delicious but the standout is the Croque Madame. So so good! OEB is on the pricier end among other brunch spots in the city. (Our bill for 2 mains + 2 drinks is about $60.) But they have a good menu and the ones we’ve tried were quite tasty. I would love to come back and try other items on the menu. Worth a visit!
