This review is coming from the US. I was looking for a particular chef knife for my kitchen that apparently there are not too many floating around the world these days. Then I found it at Old Faithful Shop, AND for a great price. Shipping to the US was straightforward, and very easy on my end. Transaction was smooth as silk too. Here’s what immediately caught my attention when the UPS truck showed up - the box it arrived in was packed, taped and labeled by someone who cared and took the time to make sure this would arrive intact, and it did. I would absolutely shop at Old Faithful Shop again. Thank you for the great experience.

Old Faithful Shop continues to be such a special place for me. I recently purchased the Playground in Naoshima Island 01 print by Jennilee Marigomen, and it is absolutely beautiful, a piece we’ll treasure for years to come. My wife and I used to frequently stop into the Gastown location when we lived in Vancouver, and every visit felt inspiring. The space itself was always thoughtfully curated, and the products felt meaningful, well-made, and full of character. That same sense of care and creativity shines through in everything Old Faithful does. From the artists they support to the atmosphere they create, Old Faithful Shop has a way of making you slow down and appreciate beautiful design. Highly recommend to anyone looking for unique, artful pieces with a story behind them.

I want to buy everything in this shop! Everything is so perfectly curated and the vibes are immaculate. The staff are so friendly and very helpful! I purchased a plant and a pot and the plant looks so healthy. I will definitely be back for more :)

One of my favorite stores to browse and shop for gifts! I love the unique selection of home goods and the amazing scent of the store from all the incense's being burned. Do yourself a favor and check out this boutique! There are multiple locations and goodies that are perfect for everyone you may be shopping for, including yourself! I can’t resist

Something unexpected happened today! As I walked past a cocktail glass, I have no idea what exactly happened — but the glass fell and broke! I was shocked and didn’t know what to do, but the staff kindly called the manager, and they told me I didn’t need to pay for it. I’m so grateful to the team and the manager (even though we didn’t meet) for their understanding and kindness. I truly felt bad about the damage caused by my mistake. To ease my guilt a little, I purchased two ceramic stands and a planter — they turned out to be a perfect match for the white-and-wood style of my home. This is one of my absolute favorite home decor stores in Vancouver. While they don’t always have new arrivals, I’ve already bought many things here over time. Even when I don’t buy anything, I really enjoy just walking around — the atmosphere is calm and beautiful, and the staff never pressure or disturb you.
