I had 3 pairs of pants that I was about to send to textile recycling when I found Old Flame Mending. I spent less than the cost of one pair of pants to have all 3 repaired, and Rebecca was even kind enough to rush the job since I was traveling soon. I'm so glad this kind of service exists and will definitely come back with any clothing repair needs.

Messaged them through their site, never heard back. Found an email address and finally got a reply. Asked about sewing holes in a vintage shirt and got a response about how they do "mending". I asked for a photo to better understand and never heard back.

So glad that Old Flame is back in this new location! Rebecca does great work at a fair price. She's also very friendly, and I have trusted her to repair and alter all kinds of clothing.

I recently attended a one-on-one lesson with Rebecca during which she taught me the basics of using a sewing machine, specifically for hemming clothing items like jeans and t-shirts. Rebecca was incredibly kind and helpful, and I feel so much more confident using my sewing machine at home since our lesson. She sent me home with some great supplies and practice fabric, and I'm excited to say that I hemmed my first pair of jeans using my sewing machine yesterday. 11/10 would recommend Old Flame and Rebecca as a resource for learning how to sew.

I brought in a sentimental sweatshirt to be mended, as the cuffs, collar, and waistband were all fraying. When I first picked up my item, I could tell that the quality of the repairs they did were really great. I was worried about the fit of the garment, as it had changed with the new waistband, though. I emailed them and brought the sweatshirt back in. They listened to everything I was worried about and worked with me to find a solution I would be happy with! They redid the repair of the waistband free of extra charge and I am so happy with it now! The folks at Old Flame really care about you and your garments and are so nice to work with. I’ll definitely bring back my own items in the future and recommend them to anyone.
